"If your looking for a dedicated faculty with small class sizes, research opportunities for freshmen, opportunities to attend undergraduate research conventions along with publications, and individual mentoring, Walla Walla University is for you. Their dedicated staff stays overtime to assist with projects and answer homework questions. I personally have received help from instructors as early as 3am through email and text messaging. If you work hard professors will take the time to help you succeed, they are rooting for your success. Major departments and the career center provide employment and internship resources along with an interview room for skype and phone interviews. Facilities cover a wide range of experimental interests including plant science, tissue engineering, bioprinting, 3D printing, bioreacting, structures, and more. Research participation requires expressing interest to an instructor, they will assign you to one of their projects and this can be done as a freshman with under 2,000 students. Walla Walla University is small with unique research opportunities, caring faculty, and a rigorous program that prepares students for employment."

"It was a wonderful experience! It is a Christian (Seventh Day Adventist based) school. All of my family went there as well. Overall I found it to be a great school, taught me well, always was top notch!"

"The time I spent at Walla Walla University shaped every aspect of who I am today, personally, professionally and spiritually. My professors were, overall, extraordinary human beings as well as inspiring teachers. The culture on campus was and remains exceptionally nurturing, warm and encourages creativity and personal growth and development. The Communications Faculty are knowledgeable, engaged in the community, and in touch with the latest developments in the industry."

"Small class size, good student to instructor ratio. Great supportive environment in the social work department. Student disability support services needs huge improvement, highly disappointed with lack of support given to students withddisabilities."

"I had a great experience there and an exceptional education. I am now the CFO of a company that has greater than 10 million in sales. I would not have been this successful without my college experience. I began attending college at the age of after a six year stint in the Navy."

"WWU was a wonderful school. Looking to stay in Adventist education this was a great option. The academics were top notch and the community of the campus was unbeatable. The involvement of the teachers was high and our average class size was 12 students to 1 teacher. Where else do professors know you by name and have open office hours and sometimes their cell number on the syllabus. This will be a legacy school for my family."

"Walla Walla University is an incredible school. It offers one of the best well-balanced programs I've ever found. High academics, strong spiritual foundation, vibrant social life, and a wealth of emotional support. Beyond that, the community/family feel here is tangible. Located in the friendliest small town in America and one of the top college towns for foodies, top places to retire, top area for arts and culture, top place for a getaway, and the list goes on - this town is a wonderful place to live that I have fallen in love with. I HIGHLY recommend Walla Walla University."

"This college operates like a family. You are one part of the whole and people across campus care about who you are and how you are doing both academically and personally. The communications faculty are dedicated and knowledgeable. They are actively involved in their field of study. They aim to involve their students in their own extracurricular endeavors and remain in contact with their graduates for years to come."

"My experience was amazing. I love the Walla Walla University environment, and would go back for more in a heart beat. My teachers were caring, my classmates were down to earth and awesome, and I felt as though I could always find help to further my passions. I’ve maintained connections with professors and administrators, and they’re friendships I value greatly."

"Walla Walla University Communications and Languages professors are caring, knowledgeable individuals who are motivated to help their students succeed. The highlight of my WWU experience was studying abroad through Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA). Becoming proficient in Spanish has opened doors for me personally and professionally. The WWU students, faculty and staff form a close-knit community dedicated to caring for those within and outside of the campus community via community service, fundraising and awareness events as well as random acts of kindness. My one point of caution is a comment about private schools in general: before enrolling in any private university, I encourage students to weigh the literal cost of tuition, meal plans and dorm fees and decide whether they would like to take out loans and if so, how much loan debt they are willing to accumulate."

"I feel that Walla Walla University offers a great program that not only requires the students to perform, but also encourages the students to recognize where they might have weaknesses. I love that the professors have a passion for their work and desire for their subject matter to be applied to their student lives. Each class is thoroughly dissected before it is applied to the student's course load. I do feel that the clinic that is being used as a training center for second year Master's students could be improved. There has been vast improvements since the clinic and program was first introduced at Walla Walla University, but I do feel that we shouldn't stop at comfortable. Thank you for reading my submission and good luck to your selection process."

"I could not be happier that I chose to attend Walla Walla University to obtain my master's in Counseling Psychology. Even during busy times of the quarter, I never tire of my classes. I always feel engaged and challenged by my professors, without being overwhelmed. Completing the program with a cohort means that I have gotten to know both my professors and my fellow students well; it is wonderful to have that common experience and support. One challenge for me has been the amount of debt I have had to take on in order to complete my degree. Luckily, it is a two-year program, so the loans do not stack up for too long, but it is still a stressor. Walla Walla University has provided some scholarship/grant assistance, but the rest of my financial aid has come from unsubsidized loans, which causes a certain amount of underlying stress."

"I honestly never believed I would return to grad school at any point in my life, but this past summer everything changed for me & I needed to do something else with my life, so I chose to further my education so I could provide a better life for my daughter & I. I am grateful every day for that decision & I know I wouldn't feel this way had I not chosen Walla Walla University. Their Missoula, MT branch is only a few hours away for me to travel to once a week, and in 8 months I will have my degree. I'm grateful & blessed to have found this school."
