"West Virginia State University is a small college which provides a more intimate setting for your academic endeavors. Staffing is always welcoming and willing to aid and continued efforts are made to support a wide array of field specialist and professional degrees. In addition, the small town homely environment provides a safety aspect unlike no other university with multiple sports teams to enjoy year-round."

"West Virginia State University is a wonderful school. I strongly recommend the Technical Writing program at State. The professors who teach the classes required for the program are extremely helpful in every way. Many of them will even offer to teach classes to students by arrangement when the classes are not offered at the time students need to take them. Because of this, I was able to graduate on time without having to wait for the classes I needed to be offered. I cannot say enough about the faculty and staff at West Virginia State University. Fantastic school!"

"I would highly recommend wv state university to anyone seeking an affordable education. The professors take time to know their student and help you to succeed. The broad variety of classes offered appeal to a diverse group of students. The campus itself is well maintained and beautiful with a lot to offer."

"Pro for this graduate program would be its small program size. Being a smaller graduate program enabled students to effectively established a better relationship with the faculty and with fellow classmates. Another pro for this program is the innovative research projects. Even though this is a small program you will still get a quality education that is very comparable to a program of a larger size . The biggest con for me was the lack of technology resources for graduate students. When it came time to write thesis, it was very difficult to find relevant articles due to limited journal availability."
