"I started at WGU on April 1, 2017. Competancy based education is not for everyone, but in my case it works very well. For people that have active lifestyles and endeavors that must be completed during prime time, being able to work at your own pace during times most people are asleep is a worthy reason to consider WGU. I haven't found many setbacks with this school, and most of the courses are prepared well and offer an easy interactive solution. For those who think that WGU may be a diploma mill, you may want to consider applying and trying a term. I've been out of school for 27 years and haven't found one instance in any course where I could have bypassed the learning and earning process. If you are motivated to work on your own without the constant push from an instructor/professor, WGU is where it's at!"

"I "graduated" this year with a BS in IT. All i had to do was memorize IT braindumps and wallah I passed each course. The LET, and MGC1 and ORC1 is total crap, it's basically the same book, I never read the book, and then went to a testing center were i just checked the obvious answer and i passed each time. Basically they are common sense questions. Also 2 units for EWB which is an intro on how to navigate the COS, what a joke. All in all I didn't learn a single thing at WGU. It cost for two years including a 2000 scholarship they give to anyone, about 10K in total, which I paid 5 cash and 5 through loans. But heck i'm too old to learn anything anyway, so I really only wanted the fake diploma on my wall to show off to other morons that visit. I told my boss I "graduated" and he just basically laughed in my face. Waste of time if you ask me, just get your AA from a CC, or if you have 10 years to wait, go ahead and attend a state school.Even devry has more credibility than this crap. By the way those mentors are worthless. My mentor would call 8am just to ask me "hey is there anything I can help you with" yeah get me a whopper with cheese and stop calling me you moron."
