Student & Graduate Reviews

"I took a six year break from higher education because I was just burnt out from going to community college, and life events did not allow me to continue in that traditional learning format.I started back in February at WIU and I have to say I am pleased with the whole enrollment process going smoothly. The enrollment, finance, and academic councilors were all super attentive and helpful in making sure I had my classes that I needed and an education plan to meet my target graduation date. I was even able to transfer most of my general ed. classes from community college. The on-line format is interactive with classes meeting once a week in the evenings. You can attend class live and interact with the instructor and students or view a recorded class session. The course work is like any regular university, a lot of reading and making sure assignments are turned in on time. There is a lot more writing required but this is good practice. So far my experience has been good. I feel I can honestly achieve getting my bachelors degree this time around."
