"William Carey University was a very good environment, especially interpersonally. I made wonderful friends there. The school size was small, as well, which was nice. Yet, it wasnt so small that there were no opportunities to meet new, different people. In fact, Id say diversity is one of WCUs strengths."

"William Carey University has been the perfect college for me. I have received a quality education from caring and knowledgable professors. My course of study has challenged me to become the best teacher that I can be. I know that I will be successful because of the education that I have received from William Carey. Also, the Christian atmosphere of the campus is extraordinary, and people are very kind and helpful. The classes are small, so you are able to receive more individualized instruction and assistance as needed."

"My five years at William Carey University have shaped me in ways that I didn't even know that I needed. The Psychology program at William Carey University is top notch, along with the faculty and staff. Over the years the faculty have nurtured and helped me develop my love and commitment to the field of Psychology."

"I have loved gaining my education at William Carey University. The programs are rigorous and well-planned. The teachers really care about all students. Be aware, though, that registration and financial aid are frustrating areas. Financial Aid does not let you know about various aid opportunities that you could receive for your major. You have to do the research and ask them if they accept the type of aid for which you want to apply. Also, the graduate admissions department needs an overhaul. It is very difficult to get in touch with anyone who can answer your questions in admissions."

"I love the teachers, small campus, and Christian environment of William Carey University. I feel like I worked hard for my degree. I do not feel like I was handed a degree without meeting the stringent requirements. Unfortunately, it was not a perfect experience. I completed this degree in history because I sometimes felt that I was not adequately advised in the Education department. For example, I was often told to pursue an Elementary Education certification, but I only wanted to teach high school. I was never told that there was a program for Secondary Education. I also did not feel like the Financial Aid department did a very good job advising students of scholarship opportunities or other financial aid that is available based on a student's chosen career path. I feel like William Carey University has identified these weaknesses and is taking steps to remedy the problem."

"William Carey is a small private university in South Mississippi. The faculty and staff wrap their arms around every student and encourage a loving community of Christian believers. William Carey has an excellent EDU program and the Master of Art Education program is all inclusive and well thought of. As a non-traditional student returning to school after 35 years, I can honestly say that I have had the experience of my life here at William Carey University. The campus at William Carey is nestled off the main road and borders an older, established residential neighborhood. It is safe and the unique atmosphere encourages walking. There is a city bus stop on the corner and only 10 minutes to shopping and other retail needs. William Carey is one of two teaching Medical universities in the state. The DO program is successful with residency offered at the local Hospital. It is a short hour drive to the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast with sparkling beaches and fun for all ages. There is on campus housing as well as the choice of many apartment complexes in Hattiesburg. There are many churches and a synagogue nearby. overall, the best kept secret in University choices! The basketball and baseball teams have a long history of winning and our international students have led the way in soccer and tennis. There is a golf team and the women's softball team is recognized throughout the south for excellence and winning. Dollar for dollar the cost is competitive and the financial aid department is supportive, doing a great job of helping students realize their dram of a 4 year degree. The music and theatre departments have a long history of accolades and have consistently prepared students for a career in Performance and religious activities. I support William Carey as an Alumnus and as a Graduate student pursuing my dream of becoming a teacher."

This college has help me more than in Education Dept.. The over views of this college has change the ways I has look at life in general. By understand the important education, and the different meaning of life. I wish that more college could have impact on spirit believe in this world. To see overview of President and the faculty of this college and impact that they have on the student body. Also, each teacher carry a great role at this college, I would highly recommend this college for students to attend."

"My experience at William Carey University was fantastic. It was the best decision I made for my college experience. I considered many universities in-and-out of state. However, William Carey had the perfect balance of a small college with a close community while providing a top value education. The classroom environment was excellent due to the student-teacher ration. The largest class I ever had probably had 16-18 students total (amazing right!?). This allowed time for me to ask my professors questions and to build a relationship with them. Even now, I still chat with some of them every now and then through social media. I think that for a private college, William Carey is extremely affordable. Do I have student debt? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. The quality of education was simply too good. My only gripe with the university was the size of the campus. It's becoming popular due to the medical school that opened up. Forget finding a parking spot when it is busy. However, walking to-and-from class was 3-4 minutes tops."

"The DO program is brand new and thus like any new program it has its quirks. One of the pros of the program is that although it is new it is very vigorous and thus prepares us well for our careers as doctors. A con of the program is the lack of structure in the foundation of the program that leads to unanswered questions and uncertainty."
