Salary and Debt by Major at Excelsior College
We calculated a salary score for each of Excelsior College's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at Excelsior College to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is based on the school's by-program performance weighted by student enrollment in each program. Data is sourced from the December 2020 release of the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid. Debt and salary numbers are shown rounded to the nearest $10.

Excelsior college is not a scam. You get exactly what you put into it. I was enrolled in the paramedic to RN program and was successful. Couldn't have been able to do it any other way. I am currently a Family Nurse Practitioner, working on a postmasters certificate in Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Being successful in the program is not based on past experiences in caring for patients, you just have to do what they need you to do to be successful. Follow the rules and you got it.
Unlike many of the reviewers regarding the nursing program, I have nothing but good things to say about my courses and school staff. My academic advisor, instructors, feedback/grading/transcript updates, etc. are all exceptional. I've attended 3 other Universities and like this one the most. I highly recommend the school for any active duty military or dependents. The school accepted more credits than AMU and I actually like the process for Tuition Assistance at Excelsior better as well.
