IUPUI's Top Rankings

Salary and Debt by Major at IUPUI

We calculated a salary score for each of IUPUI's programs by comparing program-specific median alumni earnings to median alumni earnings for the same program across all schools that provide this data. This way, students can compare the relative salary strength of a specific major at IUPUI to the same major at other schools. A school's overall score by level is a weighted average of all of its program scores. Data is sourced from the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard and was last updated in December 2020. It reflects median alumni debt upon graduation and median alumni earnings in the year after graduation for students who received federal financial aid.

This school was a good fit for me for many reasons. First, they accepted transfer credits from Ivy Tech, where I earned an Associate's Degree. However, the downside was that they only accept a limited number of transfer credits, so keep that in mind if you are looking to transfer. Now, many two-year colleges have specific transfer programs. Second, the Liberal Arts professors were top-rate. It did not matter what class I took, the majority of my professors not only knew the material but had a passion for it... Read More

Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) is a diverse educational institution. It offers various programs and is close to the heart of downtown Indianapolis. It also has four hospitals in close proximity to campus which adds to the number of opportunities on-campus or near campus for student employment. The program I participated in was offered by the Kelley School of Business. It not only allowed me to complete a triple major and double minor but diversify my education, build a diverse network...
