I can't comment on all departments and degrees, but three that I have been associated with (film, psychology, and art) have been valuable to me, academically and socially. The campus has lush and natural surroundings, which is a great bonus for someone who enjoys nature.

I felt the LIU Post was an overall great school. I had wonderful professors throughout my undergraduate who offered extra help after class to help whenever needed. I lived on campus because I played softball. The school is a very big commuters school, and mostly only athletes lived on campus. My softball team was my second family away from home and I had a wonderful roommate for 4 years strong.
