"From my first semester to my very last semester was HORRIBLE I honestly don't know where I found the strength to continue because so many times between the professors, the students, and the staff as a whole I experienced racism, slander, and discrimination. When I tried to report it I was treated as the one being "insubordinate" to use their words. I got an A in my med term class but failed it due to a project that I was never told was mandatory in order to pass the class. it's funny because even though the same teachers work at both campuses their entire personality changes depending on which campus you go to. The faculty gossips about the students in the staff lounge, they show favoritism when students ask for help of clarification on a paper/project. When I was in my final semester doing my internship a professor from the college was working there and this staff brought DRAMA to the internship site bringing up past situations that should not have even been mentioned and had we been in the actual work world (which they were but I was not being that it was just an internship) that was illegal and they could/should have cost/lost their job. What they taught us in the classroom was NOT what was on the CMA EXAMS!! I repeat WHAT THEY TAUGHT US IN THE CLASSROOM WAS NOT WHAT WAS ON THE CMA EXAMS!!! On the exam there were many questions (almost half the exam to be exact) that were asking us to give a diagnosis of the patient which everyone who studies medical assisting KNOWS that is against the law for us to give a diagnosis being that it is OUT OF OUR SCOPE OF PRACTICE!!! F****** JOKE AND NOT WORTH THE 35,000 DOLLARS Just go to community college you will get your money's worth there."

"Richmond campus of Bryant and Stratton was horrible. Advisers con you into their programs, and teachers do not know what they are teaching and are very unorganized. Director of nursing Mrs. E. is a condescending individual who only cares about herself. I left their program and am now stuck with the bill. They never informed students of clinical locations being 2 hrs away, never informed students of having to pass a conversions test in order to stay in their program and never informed students that if they left they would be responsible for the cost of the program. Once you leave they take away your financial aid that was promised to you and are billed for the entire amount."

"Currently I am an LPN student in my last semester of the program and I will not be continuing my nursing degree at this school. I came to Bryant and Stratton to start in the RN program, but they said I don't have Amy experience being a nurse so I would be better off in the LPN program to get some expierence. I decided to give it a shot to get some expiernce. I was told the LPN program was accredited to find out 2nd semester it was not. First semester I really enjoyed the program and I met a lot of cool people. Second semester was terrible and such a bad experience. I had many professors who did not care to help you. I went out of the way many times to get extra help and I was thrown to the side. Luckly I somehow I passed, but unfortunately I lost a lot of classmates. Second semster was a big struggle due to careless professors. If the majority of a class is failing it's the not the students it's clearly the professor. The dean of nursing seems all sweet, but is a joke. Professors who should NOT be teaching are still there just because they are buddy buddy with the dean. They prepare you for the NCLEX by using NCLEX question which makes sense, but we need to learn the curriculum first to be able to apply it. So far third semester has been pretty decent. You pay a lot of money out of pocket since it is a for profit school to basically teach yourself. If I'm sitting in class for 2-5 hours I expect to learn and not have to spend 4+ hours a night having to teach myself. I understand you need to read and do your work, but I should be meeting professors half way not 3/4 or the way. Overall my expierence so far hasn't been terrible, but it hasn't been great either. I wouldn't recommend this college to anyone. It's a waste of time and money. They say on commercials they have flexible schedules, but as a full time student I could never work a decent job, pay for bills and have a family. You are there 5 days a week from 9am-5pm sometimes earlier sometimes later. I am not lazy and I don't expect nursing to be easy at all, but this "college" is a joke and seriously needs some revisions done so students can enjoy their time there."

"The Nursing Program at Bryant & Stratton College in Eastlake OH is a joke. This school continuously and repeatedly "misplaces" student's sensitive personal information including transcripts, causing the student to have to pay out of pocket to replace it. The school did not have clinical instructors in place prior to the start of the semester, which caused several students to be set back in required clinical hours. When instructors were finally hired, they were not trained in the hospital setting, nor on the computer system used. If a student does choose to pursue the nursing program here, please be sure to get in the instructor's and the program directors good graces, because favoritism runs rampant here. A student that just happened to buy an instructor's house was afforded another opportunity to take a test that the rest of the student's did not. While "remediation" students for a math test, the program coordinator did not know the required formula. Nursing tutors fail out of the program. Class size drops by half from one semester to the next. One can attempt to get assistance from some of the instructors,and while they state that they offer it, they do not. Notes provided by some instructors do not correspond to what is being taught (as in referring to page numbers that were completely wrong), nothing is organized, the program director sends out emails regarding math testing to the wrong people, sends things months late..... the list sadly goes on. Oh yes, and the school is on provisional approval from the state board of nursing due to graduating students failing to pass the NCLEX-RN on the first attempt. All of this while collecting tens of thousands per student, while failing students by points, or fractions of points."

"They were very pushy to sign me up and fill out student loan applications. I wasn't thrilled with that but I thought that I was doing something good for myself. I asked them about not having to take online classes and was told that I could take all my classes in a classroom. This was only the case the first semester. I did really well the first semester taking classes that I didn't need but was pushed to take them. when I went to sign up for next semesters classes I was told that they were only online. the one thing I didn't want, and they didn't seem to care . I never finished because I couldn't take online classes. quite frustration and a waste of my money and time."

"I wouldn't recommend this school to no one. You pretty much self teach yourself. I was told that the program was accredited before I entered the program and it's not. The schedules aren't flexible at all. You have no choice on what's your schedule and the dean doesn't care if you have kids or if you have to work one day a week. They tell you it's nothing they can do. The dean doesn't care about the students at all. All she care about is having her numbers look good. She had several complaints about an instructor in med surg that wasn't properly teacomg is and the whole class was failing. Her excuse was nursing was hard. Well at the end they had to curve the grades so that everyone wouldn't fail. Besides the point we didn't learn anything in that class. They have an ATI testing that's worth 40% of your grade your last semester. If you don't pass it you pretty much fail. Once again the dean told me she had to do something really drastic to the students. So many people failed it, they had to do some to those that failed to earn more points because she was concerned about not becoming accredited. She don't care about the students learning at all."

"To start off this place is a joke. Teachers get excited about when they can fail students, and when you go to talk to the Dean she treats you as if you are 8 years old, dismisses you right away as if no one can talk bad about her staff. Also there is no one that is above her that you can talk too, even in New York they won't do anything. SO the Dean can do whatever she wants. This is the most unprofessional school that I have ever attended. Then was told that the LPN/LVN program was accredited when it is not. This school just lures people here so that they can get their money. And the commercial and everything says their schedule is flexible which is another lie. There are a few teachers that I have absolutely enjoyed and have learned a lot from but aside from that, like stated above, most of the teacher get their jollies from failing students. BUT if you kiss their butt they might let you pass."

"This school is a waste of money. Their slogan "for every & in life" is bullshit. They tell you what you want to here to acquire your financial aid and out of pocket money and they have no intention on working with your schedule. I highly recommend ANYBODY not to come to this school. It's a waste of time and money. You have to teach yourself and your convenience is always disregarded. The teachers are very inconsiderate of any family crisis. They have unrealistic and almost impossible to obtain expectations. If you are a hands on type of person, this school is not for you. You have to teach yourself everything on your own time. Nobody answers your emails when you have legitimate questions or concerns that are time sensitive. Nor are they available when you show up in the office to inquire. None of the directors know their job in and out to be able to answer your questions and they always have to ask someone else for reassurance. Answers are half a** and inaacuarate at times. The whole experience was a waste. The only thing I'm learning is that sometimes it's better not to go the fast route or cut corners at all costs. It costs you more here to get nothing out of it."

"To begin with, I went through the police academy at Bryant &Stratton. The academy itself was fine. Bryant & Stratton itself is a joke and a scam. I ended up with an extra $200 in hidden fees that weren't listed in the financial aid agreement. They will not return phone calls. It took two weeks of daily phone calls before the "financial aid advisor" answered. This school is NEGLIGENT in returning calls, or certified letters sent in the mail let alone assisting students. This school is a fly by night operation. This school should be sued for it's business practices or for fraud. Please, consider other reputable schools for your education. I hope you learn from my nightmare with this school. Going to Bryant & Stratton is a decision I regret."

"They make a lot of promises in career services and help is almost non existent with that and finding an internship. Classes are all theory based with no hands on opportunities. Library is too small. Lack of parking. Teachers have a high turn over rate."

"The nursing program in the Milwaukee region is horrible. Do not waste your money here. The Dean of Nursing is an absolute joke, there was a student kicked out for blatantly using their cell phone on an exam. Guess who was cleared by the Dean to re-enter the program, yup that's right the same student who was caught outright cheating. All they care about is getting your money. They sell the program as being flexible but this is far from the truth. The nursing scheduling is done in blocks. You are able to submit a preference sheet, but you are at their mercy where you get placed and it is up to you to figure out how to make things work with childcare, a job, etc. Also, you often will not know your clinical site until a few days before it actually starts. When it comes to the instructors there are some good ones but with the majority it comes down to whether or not they like you. If they like you they will bend over backwards for you. If they don't they will make things as difficult as possible for you and set you up for failure. Good luck of the Dean of Nursing doesn't like you, she will advise the instructors to look for reasons to dock you points and to fail you. The ADN program lacks consistency, with the addition of many other programs these inconsistencies are likely not to be addressed. Save yourself the money, frustration, and stress. There are plenty of other programs in the area that will view you as a person rather than another dollar."

"The is a college for with only interested making money of student loan and the are not good at all. They interested in getting debt than enhancing your learning . I would not recommend this school to any the teacher's can not teach . it would be a waist of time and money you would get more from a Junior College that accredited because the school is overrated ."

"I loved this college. I found a job pretty fast. I found a job less then 6 months after graduating. They helped me with my resume and helped find jobs to apply for. The teachers where very helpful and love the labs. I don't understand why people give this school bad results. I had no problems with them. They are expensive but I found a good job and can move up in my career. I will go back to this school to get my RN."

"First off, I guess I didn't believe the Advisor when she told me that I wouldn't be able to work while attended the program. This college is horribly expensive and caters mostly to the right out of high school crowd. They say they cater to working families, but it simply isn't true. They schedule you into 'blocks' that don't necessarily work out for home/work/ school balance. Second, I have a hearing deficit. I didn't think it necessary at first to have an ADA counselor, but soon found that not to be true. After talking to the ADA counselor who is also the Dean of Nursing, nothing was done to accommodate me. I have filed complaints with the ADA (response pending). I was only able to check off on competencies using a SIM man. Being competent listening to a machine vs. a real human does not give me confidence that I will be able to go out into the world and apply my knowledge to real life situations. The professors were, for the most part, great. They all had something different to contribute to your education. The problem is that B&S treats them so poorly, that they can't retain any of them, so each new semester consists of a new professor trying to 'learn' what they need to teach us. I am switching schools, but after completely one semester, I am already way more in debt than I should be. Don't let the idea of finishing earlier than most schools entice you into attending this school It will just take you more time in the long run. Financial services is awful. They make mistakes they shouldn't, and average response time with my financial aid advisor was 1 1/2 weeks. Around the time you are supposed to clear for the next semester, that is absolutely horrendous."

"I absolutely love this college. Im in Rochester NY and attend Greece campus. Advisors are awesome. They treat you well and you actually learn and will have luck finding a better job. Little expensive but it is worth it. I love it. Went there 2 years !"

"I urge anyone going into the nursing program here reconsider. If I can prevent what happened to me from happening to even just one other person, this post did its job. I wanted to return to school to 1)increase my earning ability 2) to pick a profession I was passionate about 3) to be a good role model for my daughters. one morning as I was getting ready to rush off to work in administrative office for medical billing for the Medical College of WI, I saw a commercial on TV about Bryant and Stratton. A woman about my age talking about how a degree in nursing changed her life; how she never thought it possible but with Bryant and Stratton it was possible! My first mistake was believing something I saw on TV. Bryant and Stratton is a private for-profit career college that targets working adults looking to earn a degree in their "free time" quickly. I fell into the trap. Now don't get me wrong every degree they offer here is very possible as long as you put in the hard work and follow the syllabus. I know this because the first degree I earned from this school was a medical assisting degree. I wired hard for it but my instructors were there for me every step of the way to see me succeed. I finished with a 3.6 GPA and numerous academic achievement awards. It was a confidence building experience. So much so that I turned around right after graduation and re-enrolled in the nursing program. However nursing is a different beast altogether. It's governed by its own faculty separate from the rest of the school, Evan the Dean is different than all the other programs. This is because to be accredited by the state board of nursing requires only nurses to teach and govern the program. Right from the start, the very first day I noticed a dramatic difference in the attitude that faculty had with students. It was an atmosphere of inadequacy and incompetence toward the students. Anyway, I knew I would have to work hard and I did. I quit my job to keep up with the demands of the reading, endless reading of many resources every week. I isolated my friends and extended family. I only talked to my husband and two daughters. My bills mounted because of my reduced hours. I knew however, that I was learning a lot. I had many challenges (a lot more than in the MA program) but that's to be expected, nursing is tough. With all my hard work, sleepless nights spent studying and challenging clinicals I made it to the end of the program. I was finally less than a week, just days away from graduation. I needed a very specific grade on my final exam to pass but I was so prepared to do just that. The day of the exam came and I waited on pins and needles for my score, I needed a 75.6 to pass the course I received a 75.2 I immediately called my instructor begging for her to give me extra credit or anything to bump me up the 4/10 of a percent I needed to graduate. She refused, she told me to have some integrity and stop fighting for a grade I didn't earn. It wasn't just that I failed, it was that I failed and was offered zero support of what I could do with more than 60 credits toward a nursing degree. You see once you're released from a nursing program no other college will not take you as a student. So now I'm $30k in debt without a degree, job and piles of unpaid bills from not working. It's the darkest place to be. On top of it I had worked so hard, I have never worked so hard and put my entire self into something before. My point is if I was going to fail, if I didn't have what it takes to be a nurse it should have been recognized at the beginning of the program not the very end. Two weeks later I heard from a friend that the way the final exam was graded was inconsistent. Each question was worth 3.33 points however some papers mine included was graded with 3.3 for each question, this may not seem like a big deal but it was huge for me because it meant I passed!!!! I got 57 questions correct so if I was graded 3.33 that would put me at 75.9. I brought this to the Dean's attention and she completely. She wouldn't hear it. I feel like they've decided I would make a bad nurse despite the fact that I scored 97% on the NCLEX predictor!!! Anyway, I didn't get into the constant changing of instructors, it's a very high turn around for faculty so the courses are constantly being changed. Very disorganized and many instructors with a chip on their shoulders toward students. I wish I had gone yia different school because I truly believe I would be a nurse right now."

"I learned a lot during my time at this school. There was a lot of hands on and a lot of help. I also used the learning resource center and tutors when needed. I want to return for my nursing degree and thought this was the best place to return. I know that I am going to get a lot of help here."

"I attended the Syracuse NY Campus out of high school. I got my associate degree in Business and played soccer for the school. I felt I was taken advantage of due to the fact that I didn't speak English well and did not understand what I was signing up for. When I graduated I transferred to a State University at Buffalo and none of my credits were transferable. I wasted a year and half and was $20K in debt. I am doing great now with a Master degree and a great salary but attending BSC was one of the worst decision I have ever made in my life. I wish no one choose to go to that school. I have prevented few students from Attending the school because I never want what happened to me to another person."

"This school sucks. When I tell you. I started in 2010. Graduated in Dec. 2012. They do not help with job placement. I have over $40,000 in school loan debt because of this fraudulent school. This is a warning. DO NOT GO THIS SCHOOL. Fraud! Fraud! -BS"

"This is the worst "college" in existence. Hands down! The branch in downtown Cleveland, Ohio in particular. It's full of low-based, DISRESPECTFUL, hostile students. They let ANYONE IN, just to keep their doors open. IT SHOULD BE CLOSED. You will be exposed to, hostility, disrespect and nonsense repeatedly. Its run like a public high-school. Many are enrolled just so to keep their welfare benefits and/or ordered from the courts to go to school or get a job. Many will call you out your name, while the staff does nothing but penalize you if you dare speak on the low based behaviors and outright threats of violence. You are to keep silent and ignore it all. The atmosphere is not conducive to a learning environment AT AL. You WILL be penalize immensely, even your graduation date threatened if you dare speak up. They CODDLE the disrespectful students. Many are illiterate. Teachers even hate this "college" in secret and secretly look for employment elsewhere. Many quit. There's a revolving door. The work is no challenge. i think it's substandard to meet the illiteracy that's rampant. I was a straight A student, dean's list, from the start. I had one more quarter to go before receiving my Associates in Criminal Studies...which is what they call it now. I'm transferring!! They rip you off too. It's far too expensive with many " hidden fees". You can get a 4yr. degree MUCH cheaper at any college. I regret I attended. My daughter warned me, "mommy don't go there, that school is ghetto". They have a low graduation rate due to the low-based students they admit, who are happy with a D+. It's a hostile and ugly environment and not worth it AT ALL. Many companies will not hire students from this college due to the terrible reputation it has.....ghetto students. Those who like this college are more than likely those I'm speaking of. Its high-school all over again. Grown folks who never grew up and can't write or speak intelligently or act with any sense of civility at all. Many don't return because of it and due to the enormous bill. In addition, you'll have some classes that's mandatory, instructed by social workers, not professors/teachers. It has a "welfare" feel to it. It DOES NOT have an academic feel at all. Please, please enroll elsewhere!!"
