"I learned so much about the dental field. My instructor was very knowledgeable, patience, kind and respectful. This school is a great start for someone who wants a trade with a flexible schedule and time. All the staff are available when you need them."

"I attended FCC last year and I was fortunate enough to have a nice instructor bc she helped me so much with the course when I was struggling. I'm actually p glad I took the first step in reaching out to my instructor as well as other staff. I'm now working after graduating last year!"

"All I can’t say is this school is horrible horrible. I went there since January finished August. They failed to find me a job. Well let me fixed that I told them I only wanted to go to a cardiologist office they send me to pain management. I told them I had a surgery coming up they didn’t tell the office I told the office they said they don’t care the office and the school made me choose between my children and job or school when the office told me that I walked out because no one tell me my kids come after a job that will replace you in 2 min. The teacher was quitting left and right. One of them told all the students that the school was taking out money which now I see why. I can’t I have more stuff on them as I was a class ambassador tea for days they treat you like garbage if you a ambassador and don’t do something some that work there get pay to do. They embarrassed they girl in front off all get ambassadors classmates bad"

"The instructors are great people they do they’re best to teach and help you they even have to help against the administration because the office is a complete mess and never are there when you need to speak to them or fix a problem. The administration for this school needs to be checked they will lie and trick you into signing up I regret the day I signed up. I started going during Covid and found out there was a grant they were giving to students that went in mid Covid they told me I wasn’t eligible because I wasn’t enrolled I have my exact dates and proof and still denied this school does not work to help the student it’s all about sign up and good luck with everything they avoid you by any means necessary."

"Hvac student here. Overall my teacher was great. The environment here at fcc Houston is trash. School looks horrible, inside and out. My main problem I have is the job I have now. Been doing it for 10 years made a little more now with the hvac cert. Problem is services constantly Contact my job, show up just to see if I'm there still. When they had nothing to do with me getting that job, just cause you get the cert from them they think they are above you and can do what they want. So when you graduate be ready for the constant calls and pop ups. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. Theirs definitely better schools out there and I should of chose elsewhere"

"Not gonna say I didn’t learn anything , but this school was a rip off . The teachers claimed to be doing it 20 years but obviously had very little experience as they didn’t teach us a lot of proper steps that I learned later on after actually being in the field for a month or two you learned that almost everything you were taught was garbage and you end up having to re learn . My best advice to anyone trying to pursue HVAC is go to the field and get a job and learn from that. I did still earn some basic skills and education from the program , but no where near worth 20,000 . Program was only twice a week in person classes and the rest was online … big waste of 20,000."

"The educators were the best thing about this place. Financial aid was OK but took forever to get stuff done and on the end, when my courses were done, couldn't give a crap about helping me. Job placement opportunities were few and far between. Those they did offer were ridiculous and had minimal to do with my field of study. I am still working for the same company as when I attended. Also, tried doing their online program to further my education but it shut down a few months in, so all that work just went into limbo along with my certification that they never sent me. Don't waste your time or money. Once you are out the door, they couldn't give a crap about you. They just want your money....ask my brother and the friends we made there too."

"Worst school ever. This school is a fraudulent school. They only want your money. They promise you alot and deliver nothing but lies . Graduated 2 months ago. Still no tools and no job. But they expect you to pay . There should repercussions for schools that don't deliver"

"This is a PREDATORY FOR-PROFIT place! Not only is the career services completely unqualified for what they do, they don't give more than a sack of trash for students' privacies. Upon being assigned an externship site, I was given a sheet of paper with five (5) other students' personal contact information on it. My extern site was a cannabis clinic that had no doctor on site Sunday through Friday, where the owner would come in the morning, unlock the front door, and leave the externing students alone in the office for the entirety of the day doing absolutely nothing. The other two students with me just blasted music, watched Netflix, ordered food, and smoked weed. This place makes empty promises of helping students find a job after finishing only to reel you in so they can fill out the FAFSA application FOR you and drop a $20,000 pile of debt on your credit. What do you get for that $20k? A cheap kindle ($80) with three textbooks preloaded on it (you'll only use one) and a tiny black bag full of the absolute garbage quality stethoscope and BP cuff set that even a child would know that's some cheap "materials", and finally, the most bottom-of-the-barrel quality scrubs that (God forbid you're anything larger than a medium or need a different sized shirt from the pants) feel like you've just put a cardboard paper outfit on. Take your time, sanity, and money elsewhere like an actual college that isn't going to crap all over you and relentlessly call and email you all hours of the day."

"FCC is a beautiful college to attend. The staff and teachers are very courteous and helpful. My instructor Miss Bernat is amazing, very knowledgeable and always there to help. Thank you Miss B. The support I received and is still receiving from career services department is outstanding! Miss Keila Sanchez is amazing she made sure I have a site to do my externship and that the site is hiring. Thank you Keila. I’m very satisfied with my overall experience with FCC. FCC has open the doors for many opportunities not only as a Medical Assistant but other medical careers. A very special thank you to Tyrone Jenkins who admitted me and gave me a head start. Thank you FCC!!"

"I am in communication with a lawyer over this schools deceptive recruitment tactics now. More half of what I was told during my enrollment process was just to quickly get me to sign tuition paperwork. Career services is over worked to the point that they dont care. All departments have quotas to meet and that is evident in everything from enrollment to graduation. I signed paperwork for tampas billing and coding course work but midway through classes a staff member said my class isn't that. We were signed up for medical front office... as in reception? What? So midway through the program and I have gotten micro lessons in how to do some coding but the main focus is to prepare the class to be an overly knowledgable receptionist. When I did extern I found out I was even properly prepared for that though. On location there was a medical student and she was better at the things I was taught and even though she was supposed to be learning how to be a medical assistant. Again, career services isn't going to help anyone like recruitment leads you to believe. They also dont screen students at all and so one of my classmates was a felon and said that wasn't discussed during enrollment at all... now had it been an ethical person would have told them they should find another field because this person's criminal record would definitely bar them from working in most medical offices. My class had more then one person who didnt even know how to turn a computer on let alone use software to check patients in. The icing on the cake is that someone in career services took my email and sent me messages promising to help fix my credit months after I was done."

"WORST school ever. staff seems to be clueless when asked a simple question. not only do these people using you to take away your money; they trick you into thinking they’ll help you in any need or question throughout your time there. the representatives will gladly receive you in the beginning and that’ll be the last time you’ll hear from them. career services has to be the worst of my experience here; career services claim to help you after you’re done with the program but these people suck at communicating with their students. i was in the MAT program and in order to graduate you need to do 180 hours in your externship site. i did as told and once i was done with my hours i was told that they had some issues putting in my hours into their system, so as a result i had to go back to my externship site TWICE. a total of almost 3 months in my externship site, when i could’ve been done in less than a month. financial aid doesn’t help either, i asked them a simple question regarding my loan and they couldn’t even give me a clear answer. a little side note: i heard of this school because of my step-mom. she graduated there in 2017. when i received my diploma i couldn’t help but notice how different my diploma looked compared to hers. it’s a total downgrade, the paper is so thin and my diploma has only one signature from the registrar? while hers had all the signatures from the head of fcc. i might be nit picking here but with the huge a mount of money you pay for the program they could’ve atleast gave me a legit looking diploma lol."

"This school is a complete scam! Don't waste your money! I graduated in 2005 and still unable to find a job as a medical assistant. They never taught me phlebotomy!! Also, they have an English class but not a Spanish class. I asked the Dean to offer Spanish classes for people like me who can’t speak Spanish, but he refused to help! Go to Miami Dade College instead!!! They offer the exact same certifications but at a much lower price! MDC also offers a class called: "Conversational Spanish for the Healthcare Professional." I’m still paying for the tuition from Florida Career College!! It cost you about $20,000 for a one year certification at FCC. Save yourself from tens of thousands of dollars in student loan debt!! Go to MDC!!"

"If I could stand outside with a banner urging students to turn around and make another decision I would. The only thing that matters at FCC is that you pay your student loan If you get an education it's cuz you ask for it because it's not something they provide and if you're lucky enough to be in a class that's not overcrowded and you have enough equipment to share between all the classes and you had scheduled labs the five that they said they would provide and turn in emails to proof that you've been in class by answering a definition I wouldn't hire myself to do any work on your AC just for the simple fact that you want to FCC."

"I attended at Lauderdale Lakes location. I'm a Honor student with 3.5GPA. No help with finding a job after graduation. I been on tons of interviews and still no hired. The employers looking for candidates with more experience and bilingual. They screw me on externship. Did my duty but no hired because I wasnt bilingual. The manager. At my site told me that grad service know she request for an MA that bilingual but they sent me to the site anyways. Im glad I gain some experience but I was looking forward as being in my career as a MA by now. It been almost 3yrs w/o a job. I have to pay for student loans and have 3 kids who need my support. Worse school ever. I dont recommend this school to no one. They fail me badly?."
