Degree: Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2015

Saint Louis University was a special place to attend as an undergrad. In the heart of St. Louis, students are actively engaged in community development and local service work. SLU's Jesuit mission permeates teachings in the classroom, extracurricular activities, and student life. The school places high value on diversity of background and opinion, challenging students to step outside of their comfort zones to serve and understand people from different walks of life. Students, faculty and staff treat each other with dignity and respect as they all work towards a common goal of pursuing excellence in academics, athletics, and societal well-being. I started like many students as a pre-medical student but decided I preferred the business end of healthcare. SLU's Health Management and Policy program gave me great opportunities for group work and individual projects centered on Lean/Six Sigma methodology, local and global health programs, and cost-effective program and policy design. I also chose to pursue a minor in Theological Studies which helped broaden my understanding of different faiths. Extracurricular activities like our incredible Relay For Life chapter and our active Alpha Phi Omega chapter (a service fraternity) kept me engaged even while I held a part-time job off-campus. Everyone at SLU wants to build a community, and as a girl away from home I was so grateful for the opportunity to see the true spirit of St. Louis.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

Saint Louis University is a Jesuit University where the education is rooted in their mission in educating the whole person. I feel that this outlook on education is important in preparing a student for their future career. The Physical Therapy program is well equipped with professors that love their physical therapy career as well as teaching the students. They want students to succeed and that dedication to our education successfully prepares students for their future career.

Saint Louis University provided me with far than just a degree. Through college I was able to obtain real-world experiences, create lasting relationships with friends, classmates, and professors, and become a part of a large community. My time at Saint Louis University changed me for the better and I could not be more happy that I made the decision to attend SLU.

It is a great university for paving the way to your future. The only problem is that it is way too expensive for education.

I loved my college. There were a lot of intelligent peers in my classes. It was expensive but well worth the growth I experienced in myself.

Degree: Tourism and Travel Services Management
Graduation Year: 2012

It was an interesting journey, and I would like to take my master's but I can't find time and money to do so. Need this to get a better job, but I also wish I took up something rather than tourism.
