St. John's is a great college with amazing diversity and study abroad opportunities. The name of the school carries a lot of weight in NYC and I was able to gain 6 internships while attending school. All of my professors were passionate about their subjects and I didn't have to think twice about choosing the school to get my masters degree.

St. John's is a great university and has improved since I was a student. I highly recommended their study abroad programs. The campus is well kept and has such a rich history. As a non-Catholic at catholic university, I believe the affiliation with the Vincentians enhanced my education.

Graduation Year: 1982

St. John's University offered a wide variety of courses for me to tailor my Communications degree to my particular interests. They also had a rigorous requirement of business courses at that time which was akin to a Business minor. I was challenged and taught to think logically and to be my own person. St. John's also offered excellent job placement. I not only got my internship through St. John's but also my first full time post graduation position.

St. John's University's New York City location can be strategic and provides many opportunities. Only 30 minutes away from Manhattan, all of New York City is only a subway ride away. Tuition and living costs are unreasonably high and match its educational standards.

When I was a student, what was good for me was the diversity of students at the school. I was able to understand more cultures. St. Johns prepared me for the future. The staff, professors are supportive. I would choose St.Johns over again if i could.

St. John's is a stellar school that provides their students with endless opportunities. From the study abroad program, to the campus events, it caters to every student. In the middle of Queens, the diversity emerges beyond the campus gates. Student safety is of utmost importance, public safety is constantly on duty to ensure the well being of the residents. St. John's also gives discounted Broadway tickets, and the basketball games in Madison Square Garden are to live for. The dorms and apartments are perfect, with suite style apartments, spacious and great for decorating. St. John's also has a great sense of community, with many different clubs and organizations to join. With strong Venetian pride, SJU does not force their morals on anyone, but encourages their students to visit their beautiful on-campus catherdral. There is truly no other place to be in New York City, with the strong sense of unity, as well as city-like experience.

St. John's University is the only pharmacy school which allows PharmD students to study abroad for an entire semester! The location is great - just a short trip into New York City. The student body is very diverse and there are a myriad of extracurricular activities to participate in.

My St. John's experience was an awesome one. The faculty and staff were extremely helpful throughout my four years of study. I was able to make the best of my experience through becoming very active in student orgs and eventually served on several Executive Boards of those organizations. I had a very difficult experience during my freshman year that made me feel I would have to leave school, and my grade advisor went above and beyond in ensuring that I received all of the assistance I needed to move beyond my personal traumas and achieve my academic goal. For the school to be so large in student population, the administration really took time out to get to know me, and that was definitely an important factor for me. I would absolutely recommend my alma mater to anyone.
