"I have been a student at Capella since last Winter and am very happy with the university as well as my classes and professors. The university is very helpful if you have any questions and the tuition is reasonable. The employees at the school are very friendly also. I am in the Bachelor's Degree program now and look forward to continuing on to my PhD at Capella."

"Capella is the best online college experience. You will have a great team of support to help you through out your learning experience. The course are very resourceful and provide a detailed outlook of what to expect in your career. You gain the tools you need to fully understand what you are learning."

"Hello my name is L. W. and Im a mother of 5 kids who is desperately trying to redeem the time of my life by going back to school so I can provide a better life for my family. I started online college. Which has been the best decision so that I could continue to be a mother with Capella University 4 years ago. While the finish line seem clear and close I need help in paying 3000 so that I can finish my last stride into greatness. Thank you guys so much for rhe opportunity!! God bless"

"If you care about your future or education, please do not associate with school. My experience with Capella began with them loosing my transcript not once, but twice. I ended up having to send the transcripts via certified mail and had proof they received it but they still denied it. They lost my financial aid documents three times. Financial aid wasn't available at the start of the quarter. I called every other day for two months to find someone who could help me and to make sure I could meet my financial obligations. Each time I called, I was given the same story, we don't know, it's a glitch in the system. No one could tell me what was going on. Instead they continued to make empty promises and sounded so sincere, but no one ever followed through on their commitment to even have the decency to return my calls much less do anything to resolve the problem. This was only the beginning of my sorrow with this institution.Worst mistake of my academic career. Finally getting into the class, I turned in my first assignment; it was successful. On the second assignment, I felt I produced the same quality level of work. My work was graded as failure. From that time, I emailed the instructor and the academic coach but to no avail. Emails and calls were not returned. I recall reading the reviews for Capella before applying there. I thought surely this school cannot be as bad as the reviews make them seem to be. I ignored their advice thinking nothing could be as bad as they have made it out to be. I reasoned my experience would be a positive one. Sadly, my experience confirmed for me that the previous negative reviews are accurate. PLEASE, if you care anything about your education or your career, do not entangle yourself with this school."

"I am in my second year at Capella for my B A and I regret choosing this school . They are not very helpful when I have questions or problems, Most times they don't even respond to my e mails and If I call I get the run around.. It is very obvious to me that they don't care about the students.. They are money motivated and as long as they get paid they don't give a darn. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE. KEEP LOOKING."

"Never go to this school. I had issues submitting assignments online and would contact IT, they would create tickets and not document the fact that they were created. I had to contact them multiple times..yet, I was still dropped. $3000 for nothing..."

"Fraudulent in academics and finances. Do not attend this school many illegal practices going on. Check the Web reviews. ..there are tons of students who hAve had their funds stolen. Esp pell grants. If you do question their practice they drop you out of the program with no valid explanation. My experience was they enrolled me in a class I had already taken, I informed them the day after they enrolled me. I had to argue it was same class from a university that was accredited through same committee. They dropped me from the class and gave me a F. When I said that's not legal they said there was nothing I could do about it. Up until that point I had taken 6 classes from them and had a 4.0. The next class I was dropped bc I didn't make fast enough progress...I was in the flexpath program that stated take as much time as you need. I was in my 7th or 8th week and just completed 4 papers with all A's. I only needed to finish one paper and I was finished with the class...and they dropped me. The reason I received was I wasn't working fast enough. This is not what the program advertised...they will lie to you, ignore you, and take your money. Please do not consider this school."

"I started class on December 7th and dropped December 29th. I submitted my first paper to Turn it in and it was kicked back with NO feedback on paper. It helps if you can get someone to actually read your paper. I was taking Flex Path. My first time trying to submit paper, the system did not work on their end. I had problems with my computer and printer that I had to pay for during this process. My loans were supposed to be deposited in my account on the 25th, in which I was counting on being around Christmas time and having the repairs that I hadn't expected. The money never was deposited. I'm still being charged $2,000 for 22 days of frustration."

"Smooth transition into university, requires hard work, dedication and motivation. very challenging, but very rewarding, lots of writing and classroom interaction that is mandatory. Professors are strict when it comes to grading. Also discussion and feedback are mandatory as mentioned earlier."

"This college as a bait switch scheme and my complaints run from in class buffoonery to lies, false information, incompetence and I have contacted the Florida Board of Education and I suggest while it maybe be a pain do it anyway this has got to stop! I have also retained an attorney."

"I have nothing negative to say about this school. The instructors, advisors, and customer service are all very nice and helpful. The instructors are all very knowledgeable in their respective fields. The only issue I had was an inability to finish my degree program due to maxing out my student loans. Apparently, it is commonplace for students to make it to their senior year and then have to pay the last year out of pocket. If you can pay your final year straight out of your pocket or want to get a bank loan to pay for it, this is an excellent school."

"Stay as far away from Capella University as you can get. This school has the absolute worst faculty, tech support, library support, learner support, advisors, financial aid team and practices! They take your money just fine and then you are on your own. Want to actually learn something without a ton of aggravation and someone always trying to reach into your pockets for more and more money? Enroll elsewhere. This school has NOTHING to offer except deceptive practices, inaccessible resources, and absolutely NO ONE to help you."

"I have attended more than a few schools of higher education in my life, from technical certificate programs to 4-year private schools. Capella has got to be the worst of them. They have no regard for students needs, preferences, etc. It seems as long as they are getting that financial aid money and keeping students quiet and enrolled, they are quite happy to do nothing for it. If you have a problem with any aspect of the school, good luck getting help to solve it. If you have a question about any aspect of your course or coursework, don't ask since you will NOT receive any answers, not even any guidance on how to find the answer yourself. Worst school ever! DO NOT ENROLL here!"

"I've attended community college and Liberty University online, but Capella is one of the best schools and the staff is very helpful. The price is responsible and the instructors and professors are professional and understanding. I love this school and I will be attending this to soon getr my Masters!"

"Capella University has been a great find for me! I started 4 years ago and will soon be graduating, super excited!! The flexibility of being able to go to class right in the confounds of my home in the living , with my children and not having to fork over money for day care was my greatest blessing. Anyone who's anyone who desires to go back to college and can't afford to leave your children or your current job situation (because just because your in school rent and bills don't stop) then Capella university is the right school for you! Good luck and God bless."

"The individuals who "work" at Capella are the most difficult I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. As soon as they've got you signed up, any help they pretended to provide stops. They have many excuses as to why they can't provide things like answers to your questions, help with program advice, etc. Professors are mostly non-existent in courserooms. Grades are provided whenever they feel like posting them. Ask a professor a question and you MAY get an answer prior to the due date of the assignment but most likely NOT. Rubrics are vague and extremely subjectively worded - leaving interpretation of how you are graded to a "best guess" method. If you were thinking about this school - think again. NOT a good choice unless you like to spend money, and lot of it, for nothing."
