"I recently graduated from Devry with my Bachelor's of Science in Multimedia Design and Development. I can say without a doubt that Devry is just like any other school, you get out of it what your willing to put in. I laugh when I read all these bad reviews from "students" who had a bad experience. So many people complain about Devry but those same people are the ones not willing to do any of the work. There's even proof of this is some of the reviews on here, people saying "it's a copy and paste from google school". That right there explains their work ethic. Devry isn't the best school you can go to but it's not the worst either. Yes, it can be expensive but they aren't hiding the fact that they are for-profit. For those people complaining that they can't find work after graduating, it's not the school's fault. The bottom line is if you need a school that is somewhat flexible with your schedule and you have an actual interest to learn then I say give them a try."

"So I spent 4 years in this program and took out thousands upon thousands of dollars in loans...I am 16 credit hours away from completion and can not register for my final classes because it seems that they overcharge for the education that you receive and I ran out of financial aid. So as I interview with companies in the field that I have been studying I also get a lot of laughs when I say I am going to Devry because it is a joke of a school in the minds of the employers....The sadist part of it all is that my fiance is taking the same degree program as I am and the same thing is about to happen to her........ DO NOT GO TO DEVRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"This has been nothing but amazing--DeVry staff have supported me throughout my entire experience. Any time I have stumbled they have been right there to pick me up, Heading into my sophomore year now, and still going strong!! <3 Especially if you are a non-traditional student, you want to enroll at DeVry. The way that the courses are set up allows you to carry on a full life as well as attend and excel in your studies. I feel that the quality of the work that we do is top notch. It's challenging and rewarding -- don't pass DeVry over!"

"First of all, I was shocked at how much they DON'T actually teach you! You have to do all the research on your own and the teachers ask YOU how to do stuff, as if YOU are the teacher and THEY are the student! This is so not an education. You might as well use YouTube on your own to give yourself your own real life education. The only thing this college is good for is to remind you about copyright infringement and my goodness do they ever repeat the same lesson multiple times over about copyright infringement instead of providing you with new material to succeed in your career. They don't tell you early on that what you're studying can't possibly take you anywhere in your specific location of residence, so you waste time and money on them instead of being a productive part of the economy. They send you to bankruptcy and they screw you over on inaccurate billing fees that you have to be on top of 100% of the way in addition to your intense studies, whether you plan on becoming a manager or not. They'll screw you over the moment you turn your back. They didn't tell me about the specific forms I had to fill out towards receiving financial assistance, so I ended up having to withdraw thinking that I had to wait until the new tax year and only months later did they call me back to explain what steps to take immediately to continue trying to get an education from them. It doesn't actually matter because it just so happens that it's just about impossible to work in the game industry as an artist in NYC because there aren't actually enough internship jobs here to survive on for years before getting considered for steady work. All too often, college is a scam because the staff members who probably know your field better than you do refuse to guide you properly and tell you the truth so you could make informed decisions before you become too old, too sick, and completely useless in the workforce. I believe in online educations, but DeVry acts absolutely incompetent. Even after my final withdrawal where I explained to academic advising all my reasons why I had to leave PERMANENTLY, they still call the living daylights after me to tell me about their new semester starting soon so I could enroll when ALL of their lame programs are completely USELESS TO ME! I hate this college and their unethical, irresponsible, incompetent, rude manners. Their level of stupid makes me wretch."
