Degree: Business Administration and Management, General
Graduation Year: 2012

I attended DeVry from September 2009 thru October 2012 studying Business Management and Human Resources Management. I enjoyed attending the classes onsite, but had to take several online courses in 2011 and 2012 because the onsite classes weren't available. I graduated Suma Cum Laude because I studied very hard, and read everything in the textbooks and associated online information. I prefer the onsite classes because of the knowledge gleamed from discussions with other students and professors. I must say, I did have to take extra classes after I had enrolled at DeVry, because, suddenly, new requirements were added to my chosen programs. I had over $61,000 in student loans -- which forced me to take out a 2nd on my house. It is now 2016, and I still have not been able to secure a permanent position. Now that I have read some of these online reviews, I have learned that some employers do not recognize DeVry as an accredited university. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money on my education, and have not enhanced my career (which is kind of in limbo since I can only find short-term temp work). I would recommend DeVry based on my onsite learning experience; but, I will advise the student to find out if their employer will accept a DeVry education; and for the student to stay on top of their loan balance and how it is paid.

Graduation Year: 2017

This school started off good, until they started to change everything over summer. The classes now consist of teachers just handing out homework without explaining the work. They don't even bother to show the students how to do the work anymore. I have spent my time watching youtube and search the web to try to understand the work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY FOR THIS SCHOOL!

From the moment I called to check out DeVry I was swept up in a sea of commitment to get me going in the program. The customer service reps are friendly and courteous. DeVry offers so many tools for students, both during their college experience and as they move out into the workforce. I love being able to complete my school work on my schedule and have had no problem with connectivity or streaming video online. I would recommend DeVry online to anyone working full time while going to school!

Graduation Year: 2016

I took all of my classes online which made it really easy to go to school since I am married with children and have a farm to work on. The entire staff at DeVry was all helpful, polite, and understanding. It was a lot more work than I expected for going to school online, but it was well worth it. I alway recommend DeVry to any of my friends when they talk about going back to school. When I am ready to go further into my career, I will definitely go back to DeVry.

Transitioning back into school is made easy with DeVry's non-degree benefits. My Compass to my Career and SuccessU make funding my degree easier and introduced me to just what it takes to change. Knowing exactly what requirements are needed for entry level positions has refined my goals and set me on an upward path to success!

Degree: Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician
Graduation Year: 2018

As a former healthcare worker I want to be involved in the industry so I have decided to take the HIT program, it has been exciting and informative from the beginning. I am so happy that I have gotten a mixture of regular courses and HIT courses from the beginning. I like that I have gotten right into the core classes without having to wait. All of my professors have been excellent. Easy to get in touch with and they have all known the courses well. The entire DeVry interface works amazingly, the student portal is easily navigated and there is always a real person that you can easily get in touch with if you do run into a problem.
