The three years that I've spent there, I have nothing to complain. From my perspective, it's the best architecture program out there. FIU SOA for life!!!!

It is competitive, exciting, thrilling... A lot of work, but it's what we came here for. It prepares you well. For the students who find themselves struggling to have a social life, it's because of procrastination and lack of balance with the school work and personal life. It's an amazing program.

Over all FIU is a great school with an ever expanding campus, and programs that are striving to go beyond the needs of today's society. You can get almost nothing done without talking to someone face to face, and it is almost a pre-requisite that a student speak or at least understand Spanish to get anything done.

My graduate program at Florida International University is fantastic. Its highly competitive within the design studio and the professors are or have been part of the surrounding firms in Miami so it is easy to make connections before you graduate. The classes are rigorous and you work at a fast pace. The only cons of the program is the rigidity of it and doesn't allow you to take any courses outside of architecture in your beginning freshman years and little time for on campus activities.

The best architecture program in Florida. architecture building designed by world famous architect Bernard Tschumi, great campus, and you get to spend a semester studying on Miami Beach at the new Urban Studios as well as spend a semester studying in Italy. The professors ask for a lot of hard work, but its worth it. I learned so much and have been told when I interview for jobs that my portfolio is fantastic.

ONe of the most amazing emerging programs in the nation. Incredible faculty, great resources, fantastic city to study architecture in and a really great value when compared to the other top graduate schools of architecture. Look carefully at this program when applying to schools, you will find that it completes with the very best for a much less money….
