"The program itself was very competitive and educational. The school in general is very large and growing at a rapid pace. I think most of their undergraduate degrees are not too great but they perform very well in graduate studies."

"College is where you find yourself. You pretty much grow up there. There is no one to tell you when to do your homework or give you guidance on how to do it. This is where you either sink or swim and learn to manage your life as a grown up."

"Florida International University has done a superb job at providing students with a well-rounded globally focused education. After receiving my B.A. degree from FIU, I decided to also pursue my MBA here , due to the excellent programs, rigorous coursework, and global mindset. FIU prepares students to be successful within their communities, but to have an open mind for diversity. The school hosts a variety of speakers, with President Obama being one of the most recent guests. There are many opportunities for career advising, networking, and weekly (sometimes more) workshops to prepare students to be successful in the workforce. Business students have access to Career Management Services which provide opportunities to review/write resumes, practice interviewing skills, and meet with potential employers. Companies will often contact career services and recruit current FIU students, over posting a public ad."

"The MBA dual degree at FIU is a very prestigious and rigorous program, but it is worth it. The FIU program consists of students representing nearly 26 nations who are deep into their careers (own businesses, future CEO's, Manages, etc) and a small portion are newly graduated students with a degree from their home country. Like the other MBA programs, most of the major assignments are done in groups. If you're not used to working with others this can be a con, because not only will you have to work together but you also have to overcome opposing persoalities and different way of thinking. The curriculum incorporates a 360 degree view of the domestic & international business market. You are exposed to Harvard Business School case studies and real-world scenerios in which you are assigned a company, in your last semester, and have to solve a current business problem. Throughout this program you will hone already existing skillsets and learn new ones that will be applicable in the business market, regardless if you seek an Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Consulting position."

"I am truly enjoying the Professional MBA Program at FIU. The College of Business provides great customer service and understands the need of working professionals pursuing an MBA. The course work is difficult, but rewarding and enjoyable. Over all I'm thrilled with my experience in the MBA program at FIU."
