"The school provided no assistance to find jobs, then shut down, I believe they took out more in my name and kept it, you never got a refund check, and yet I’m stuck with the debt, in which has done minimal for my life. Why is this fair to the students?"

"I am currently enrolled at Independence University for my bachelor's degree in Health Service Management. I would recommend this school to anyone who has the self-discipline to attend an online college. I have found the communication to be excellent and everyone genuinely seems to care about my education. The instructor's have all been very attentive to my needs as a student. My experience has been wonderful!"

"I have not graduated yet but so far this school is amazing. When my advisors see me slacking or taking a little to long theyre on top of it helping me and pushing me to be better. At First I didnt believe the school was real. So I gave them a call and it was definitely real. They got me in super quick and it was not a hard and long process, but I did have things going on that slowed me down but they understood and didn't give up on me. Everytime I go back for another degree I will go here."

"I usually do not do this but i am really upset with the financial department from this school. First I signed up for cost of living in june, my funds were disputed to the school july 2. When I talked to my financial aid advisor she sent me info about the cost of living, I then tried to get in contact with her numerous of times she never answered. Then I had spoke with someone over her and then she finally reached out to me. I then had another financial aid and she had told me that everything that the other person had did was not in the system. So now I had to get approved, I was approved and they said I would have to wait 10-12 weeks for my check to come it is now in my 13 week and I just talked to her now she is telling me that I would get it in the beginning of October. I feel like I am giving the run around on when I will be receiving my funds. The school had received their funds why do I have to wait so long for mine to come to me I have to pay that back it is on my nelnet I am the one who requested for the funds so what is the hold up I am so disappointed in the financial department. As far as the classes are good and I make good grades I would not recommend using financial aid when going to this school but as far as getting an education yes."

"I started IU in 2015. I have had nothing but excellent instructors, advisors, and deans. The course work is not in any way easy. My instructors are always a phone call away or email, they always got back to me within 24 hours. They have always been courteous and helpful. There number one goal is to help you succeed. I'm not understanding any of these negative reviews. There is nothing negative about this University. I am now in a Practicum course and it is required that I go and do an informational interview with a health care administrator. This is awesome in itself because it gets my name out there, but also just the first Healthcare Administrator that I interviewed, told me that after I graduate, he wants me to send him my resume and he is going to send it to everyone he knows that is looking for an Administrator, he wants to be the person that gets me a job. This a huge opportunity! If you are looking for a college that is invested in your success, with great instructors, look no further!"

"First let me say this to ALL that is reading this post. This is the worst school I ever attended. I graduated in November 2016, this university gave me the run around. When I started at IU they baited me in to make me think, once I finished my life would change. I am in more debt then what I started with! The degree seems as it is neve recognized any where in the universe. I have been back and forth with this school to get assistant with finding a job it is the same bs everytime I call. I have did the same job search too and the same results. I am saying this school will have you out of money, stress or living on the streets. There was no stipend during time I was there. It was like basically I struggled the entire time in college and I am still struggling now with the degree from this college. I am saying do not go to this school. No time to research this school because your time and money. There is more I would like to say but I will leave it at this!!@"

"If you were to ask me a year ago about the possibility about going back to school to get an higher education, i probably would of laughed at the idea thinking that it was impossible. But after talking over the phone to the Admission's at Independent University in September it was impossible to let the opportunity fly by me. They made the impossible, possible. They helped take the fuss out of applying and just made things feel like it was possible. I have never met a better school administration that went to the lengths that they did. Even after the fact of being enrolled and attending classes the school still keeps their word by being just a phone call away if there were anything i ever needed help with. If your looking for a school that is supportive and overall great instructors and fellow students then i advise you to give independence university a chance. it probably would be the best thing you ever did"

"I am a current online student and I just want everyone to know, this is the BEST UNIVERSITY to attend!!. I highly recommend them, they are honest, efficient and it's an accelerated program where you can get your degree and work in your required field. I have really enjoyed my experience here, I love it and I want to see more and more people pursuing their degrees through Independence University. They are the BEST and I truly mean that. I wouldn't try any other university!!!"

"Best decision I ever made. Before attending IU I was having a hard time finding a job that would support myself and my family. I had always wanted to work in the medical field, but couldn't even get my foot in the door. From the time I called in to talk to admissions through my graduation the staff and faculty have been amazing. I felt like they really cared about me as a person, not just a number. It was hard at times and a lot of work, but I did it and my family and I are so happy that I did. It truly changed my world."

"I am currently attending IU for healthcare management. The instructors are great and always willing to help. If a problem occurs, let them know and they'll get it fixed as soon as they can. 1 thing I dislike about this college is, you get grants etc and they apply all the left over money toward future stuff. If money is left over, you should be able to get what's left over to help with bills etc. I'm not lazy by all means but if I am gonna pay this money back when I graduate, let me have a choice. After calculating up, they will receive an extra 13 grand from me."
