Veterans do not go here! the classes are mostly online and are poorly taught. You will be charged for classes by the day and Rasmussen ends the quarters early. They are not the 11 weeks that's you pay for and you have to do coursework through the holidays. They change courses on you and force you to spend more money with a new course they adopted and make you pay the price. It ishould only regionally accredited not nationally. Waste of money. Veterans look elsewhere for quality education this college... Read More

Awful. Currently halfway through the nursing program at Moorhead campus and is one of the worst experiences I've had. Program is very disorganized and uncompassionate to their students. It's very heartbreaking to attend a school that is run the way it is. As of right now 75% of our class is failing and most will have to drop out or retake the class. Unfortunelty this school is all about the $$$. I would suggest checking into other nursing schools if you don't want the high stress and the good chance... Read More

This school is a complete joke. They butter you up with how "perfect" their program is, just to learn its unorganized and its self taught. Don't waste your time or your money. Go get a real legit degree. The instructors are rude and don't know anything but power points. It's all about money.

Rasmussen is the 7th college I've attended in the last 4 years, two which were non-profit and five which were for profit. All of the schools I've attended were online and I've by far had the best experience with Rasmussen's teaching staff and advisors. In my 6 semesters with Rasmussen everyone has been helpful in assisting me and getting me in classes and checking up when I fall behind and ablit every three weeks or so just to see how it's going. The instructors are great and all that I've had were... Read More

I'm surprised to see some of the negative comments. I am halfway through my program, and am impressed with the courses taken so far. There are always some instructors that are not as good as others, but overall, my experience has been a good one. You get out of it what you put into it. I can see where a person could easily fall behind if they do not keep up with the fast pace of the accelerated classes. I am very pleased with my decision to attend Rasmussen online. Courses are challenging, and rewarding.... Read More

i would not come here again, the instructors are bully's and there is a lack of accountability in the staff. When you attempted to get whatever issue it is you have fixed they say its your fault and that you made that choice. Never mind that they insisted you make it. YOU CAN DO BETTER...GO ELSE WHERE!!!!

Where do I start with this school. First off the instructors are rude and not helpful. When emailing them there responses aren't helpful what so ever. The Dean is rude. They're very expensive and what they so called teach is just ridiculous. I've had racist instructors and I know because I have an email with proof. Be warned they act nice and suck you in but once your in that's when they screw you over the most. Go to NWTC I should have waited on a wait list instead of coming to this hole.

I loved the field i was studying but Rasmussen was not teaching me what i needed to know about the field i was going into. it isn't worth the money we use to put in when the degrees aren't worth the paper they are printed on. not to mention the advisors aren't qualified to teach us, the student advisors don't give a hoot about the students. If I would have finished my degree with them; I wouldn't have known squat about my degree field. I would have paid 26,000 dollars only to make 29,000 a year.

This program was a disaster and the school a joke. First, the Dean quit. So, theyou took the most controlling, rude, condescending instructor and made her temporary dean. Class requirements changed constantly, instructors quit mid-quarter. It was horrible and there was absolutely no support, other than from one instructor at the end of the program. I had to go to the dean with a question halfway through, and she told me "well, I'm not the actual dean" so I went to the regional dean, who told me to... Read More

I love Rasmussen. Not only am I a student, but I also work for the school. I am an accelerated student meaning that I am packing 4 classes into every 11 week session and I couldn't be any happier. I have attended other online schools and never felt like I was part of a community, but here at Rasmussen everyone is part of a family. I work along side advisors, deans, admissions personal and others and I am never treated any different because I am a student. I am proud to be a Rasmussen Moose and will... Read More

I earned my AAS degree in 2004 and loved to tell everyone, Rasmussen is the best colleage in the earth. That's why, I went back and finsih another two bachelor's degrees. I was a transfer student. Instructors at Rasmussen College are super helpful. Whenever I sent email to them, I must receive reply on time. All my majors were in Business that it's a great help for my career. I'm more than 1/2 way through the nursing program and would not recommend it to anyone. The school has had this program for 2+ years now... we have a new dean last year, EVER changing faculty and once you're hear, no one in administration cares anymore. I have a few good instructors. When there is an issue with an instructor-tough. She's friends with the dean, so there is no resolution. Everything is last minute. New Port Richey Fl campus has been wonderful. Listen, its easy to blame others for mistakes we make in anything but the fact is we all hold the keys to our own kingdoms. You have to take the reigns on what you are striving for and make it happen. The advisors including Melinda and Marina are always there in case you need anything. I really hate when people stereotype an entire school the way they do in these posts. I would recommend Rasmussen School of Nursing for all those who are serious about... Read More

Rasmussen is all warm a fuzzy when you start. They get you great help with everything but teachers. Then they stop caring and tell you to chase down the teachers or the answers including vendors for stuff you pay dearly to Rasmussen for. I would never have gone here had I known what I know now. Over two years and I cannot graduate with 5 credits left because they do not offer them in one quarter, you have to wait two quarters. I am currently enrolled and everyone has been extremely helpful. From the advisory department to admissions, everything has gone smooth, my teachers have been quite hands-on and respond when questioned with thoughtful answers. I haven't graduated yet but I can say that I am already quite happy with my choice. You get out what you put in, so if you work hard and study hard then you will earn yourself a good degree and education.

I am SO fed up with this school. Everything was perfect in the beginning despite what others had to say, they easily hooked me. I have only been attending since January of 2015 and I've already had THREE different advisors AND I can never get ahold of anybody at the school regarding any concerns that I have. I started failing classes because I could not get ahold of anybody, it was their problem according to them and to re-read the material when it was nowhere to be found. Also, there is not a single... This college is by far the worst as far as communication goes. The advisors are now in charge of financial aid issues, which takes away from the time that they should be spending helping students in other ways. The instructors are less than mediocre. I would not recommend this school to anyone at all. The school is not a good one and you are pretty much teaching yourself. There is an exam at the end of the program that need to get 92% on to get your degree and they don't tell you that until the end when you are in the last class.
