"This school did a great job when it came in enrolling in their college. However, every semester I had more and more problems with financial aid. This school has no communication between the staff members who work in the financial aid office. Also, every time you speak to someone in the office, you receive a different story about your account. This past semester, I left multiple messages for help figuring out what was going on with my financial aid and never received ONE phone call back. In the end, I ended up paying for classes out of my pocket- they must of been too busy messing up someone elses financial aid. Also they will unenroll you out of your classes even if they are the ones who are experiencing the problems with plugging in your financial aid correctly into their system- and anyone enrolled in the veterinary technician program knows all the classes are extremely competitive to get into."

"I went here and everything was great in the beginning. Then I began to get further along and they don't help you find a place to intern but there are rigid requirements. Once I found a place, they told me that this place did not qualify for certain other classes. Clinics must be AAHA certified which few are and must do each thing in house. Forget the future when you are told that if you cant find a large animal practice in the city you have to fly across the country to attend a short program. I also had issues with class transfers. After 2 years i was still waiting for transfer credits to be approved. One of which they required i take in addition to the program. I was told i would have to wait or ask higher up. I contacted the director and the person at the top. No reply at all. Terrible and disorganized. Avoid! There are better schools."

"San Juan is a great school. The admission team is very friendly and helped me plan out my future at San Juan. I never had any technical issues or anything. The instructors were all very nice and willing to help in whatever capacity they could. I would definitely recommend San Juan to anyone who wanted a degree in the veterinary field!"
