"Ridiculous school. Won't release your transcripts until you have paid them in full. Plus, they sell your loans to a collection agency. The instructors weren't too bad, they were educated. I could never get a hold of anyone, and having an even harder time since I've left."

"Do not waste your time or money here. This school only cares about one thing and it Is taking as much money as they possibly can from their students. The teachers are hardly qualified to be teaching at a college level and the classes are subpar at best. Aside from this, once you leave the college it is nearly impossible to obtain your transcripts to transfer elsewhere. Ive been trying for almost a month now and will most likely not reach the deadline for the other programs where my transcripts are necessary. Staff is extremely rude and extremely unhelpful. South University Round Rock Texas will do nothing but leave you with empty pockets and nothing to show for your time there."

"The online programs at south is great for working adults. Every 5.5 weeks you take another class. The professor are well trained to teach everything you need in the online programs. The academic advisor reach out to see how the program is working for you. Great University to attend if you are a working parent"

"South is a great university for any full time parent that work a full time job. The classes are only 5.5 week long unless the class has a lab then it's 11 week long . But you are enrolled in 2 classes. The staff is great when it comes to getting into all your classes. A great school."

"I will only say this... I will break it down to Pros and Cons. At the begining, its like any school, they are helpful and appericated. I came in with an associate degree from another college and from the militray. I was told.. it should take me about 2 1/2 years to graduate with a BS in Health Science. 99% of the classes are 5 1/2 weeks long, but the science classes are 11 weeks long. PRO: The classes where not bad and I learned a lot. I was always a C student in high school etc. But with help etc... I basically was a B student here. Maybe because I love to write, therefore writing in APA was "natural" to me. CON: Science classes have test, quizes. Even the math classes. My professors where pretty tough and ruff... but who isnt? GOD help you if you miss a day. There is so much information to keep up with. But if you think its easier at another schooll... think again. I had to repeat 16 classes... ALL MY FAULT. I was sick, injuried, traveling etc. Not mention working. I cannot blame the school for that. I had two issues with professors... one quit in middle of the course. For an eleven week A&P2... we went 5 weeks without an instructor (if i remember correctly) We as students... just keep with completing the work and test etc. By week 8 we had a new professor. THis guy... treated us as if we worked in the field for years. He was the type of professor that... if you answer the question(s) correctly... he will follow up with 5 to 20 questions just for you... Oh yeah... and if you "dare" not to answer them all... he taken points off!!!! That was the only crazy professor I had. My associate I had only compelted; english, humanities, etc. My math...wasnt good enough so I had to take theirs. SO really... I had a good 20 credits coming in. Now, im 1 more class to graduate. I learned a lot and enjoyed the lessons along the way. There have been pleanty of long nights, reading, studying, tons of projects, papers etc. Bottom line... If I would have known about this school.... say 20 years ago... I would have attended here. THe only reason why I did not go to a "non profit" school... 1. Location 2. Location 3. Price Where I live at.. the universities cost as much if not more than there. Plus, with my awsome 2.4GPA from my assoicates'... there where just too many schools to choose from. But honestly, those schools did accept me. But now, I have a higher GPA with a 3.2... those school will accept me now... but why change again? those schools want you to complete at least 30 credits with them... at this point in my life... I just want to work, earn above average sallary and be happy. I can care less the name of the school... what counts 1. Department of Education recongizes the school 2. Limited debt from the school 3. and get paid after graduation Last note... I have read TONS of reviews about this school... if you really pay attention... they all had some money issue and it seems it can be their issue of not communicating what they wanted to do and what happen. I will never rule that stuff out... the ONLY issue I had with the financial department... My rep knew I am VET, but never told me about the Post 911. So I spent 2 years paying out of pocket. But now my GI Bill pays for it all. Also, I have a ton of employment oppertunites... once I graduate. I have at least 50 job oppertunities that pays at least $50,000... I cant wait to finish. So, at this present time... I feel its worth it... at least in this degree program. .... I still have one more month left... anything can happen."
