Let me start saying you never judge a book by its cover. For those of you who think that Strayer is some vanilla university without substance and reputation, you couldn’t be further from the truth. Strayer University is a outstanding and reputable school. If are willing to apply yourself and meet the challenges of the curriculum then Strayer is for you. I met great success while at Strayer. My success coach (M.Sanchez) allowed me to set my class schedule each term, reviewed and signed off on it. My financial aide counselor (R. Jones) made sure my aide went through without a hitch. They were as big a part of the reason for my success as me actually doing the work. I didn’t have to worry about class scheduling, retaking prerequisites, not having aide to pay for classes on time thanks to the two of them. I can say without a doubt because the fact that I’ve completed my degree from Strayer. I’ve seen a significant increase in job offers with substantial increased offers in the pay scale to the sound of 20k minimum. I’ve went from just interviewing for supervisor positions to managerial position. I’ve gained a new sense of confidence knowing that I can confidently turn down some offers because I know that because I now have my degree I will have others come my way. I want to close by saying college is not supposed to be easy, it should challenge you to be better than those that don’t plan attending college and even those that do go. Strayer will challenge you to be better than who you are, but Strayer will also give you the tools to meet those challenges head on so that you can succeed.

Strayer University is an amazing school. I take classes online and on campus. Also, they have multiple campuses around the United States for students to take in classroom courses. The campus is really close to me so if I needed to go to the school for anything I could. They are very professional and are concerned about their students. If I miss a deadline they will check on me to make sure everything is fine. They respond to all your questions in a timely manner and have multiple programs and website... Read More links to assist you with your studies. They offer free tutoring for your classes and they participate in buying your books back when you are done with the semester. They are constantly emailing and calling to make sure I am on the right track and that I dont need any assistance with anything. This is the first school I have attended that want to make sure you are doing good and not struggling. When you sign up, they send you a laptop for free to do your courses and if you graduate, you get to keep the computer with no charges. This school is very educated when it comes to financial aid and they always make sure that if they do not know and answer, they will look into it and find out within 24 hours. Strayer is very thorough and very compassionate about your education. IF you have emergencies come up they are sincere and usually if you explain the situation in a timely manner, they can give you an extension. They always seem to be concerned about you as a person and they are always willing to help in any way possible. I would choose this school over and over again and I recommend Strayer to anyone concerned with their education and never forget that knowledge is Power.

I am a current student at Strayer University and now that I am very serious about my education and have done very well in the three semesters that I have attended, I am now being forced to pay the full tuition thanks to the tax verification process. I have submitted to them my 2016 and 2017 tax transcripts and they keep insisting on that I needed to submit an amended tax return to them that I did not have. I am now waiting since I was forced to amend my taxes and now I am facing a large bill of over... Read More $10,000 if my amended taxes aren't completed by March 18. Plus I am not receiving a 1098T from the school. No wonder my student success coach is starting to act irritated everytime my husband (who is also a student and going through this verification mess and he receives disability) and I try to reach out to her. This school is here to add debt and not success. DEBT doesn't equal Success

Please do not go to this school they do not care about you at all. I applied online and a coach by the name of F. called me literally 3 minutes later after I applied online trying to get me to enroll and she would literally call you everyday to make sure you done this and you done that..so after Im finally enrolled she no longer answers any of my phone calls never ever replies back to my emails and does not help me with anything...I have been having a hard time getting financial aid..which I dont... Read More know what school sets you up with classes until you pay for it! But they sure did and Im sure F. probably got some type of bonus or credit or something on getting me enrolled...and then another thing they do is put me and dumb classes like classes to that have to do with learning how to use a computer...Strayer University does not care about your success all they want is your money! Waste of time
