"Troy university is a nice campus with friendly instructors that want the best for there students. Troy has a wide variety of majors to suit the needs of many career fields. The dorms and cafeteria are nice and the classes are challenging yet rewarding to help each student learn the most about what they want to be in life."

"I used the Troy University distance campuses. This allowed me to work full time and take night and weekend classes to finish my degree. The professors were knowledgeable and had real world experience."

"I obtained my MSHRM in 2011. While there were a few professors that I would not recommend, overall, I was pleased with the quality of the faculty and staff at the Atlanta location. All of my classes were in-person and that worked very well for me and my busy schedule. Honestly, I would not say that the coursework was extremely rigorous, but I did learn quite a bit that I was able to use in my job as an HR Manager/Business Partner. Most of the professors were able to relate very well to the real-world and most of the coursework was relevant to working in the profession. The coursework is more meaningful if you are in an HR role or similar role already. Unfortunately, many of the students were just present in the class, but really could not provide much value to the discussion for lack of knowledge and experience. I am planning on pursuing my MBA at the school soon."

"Moving constantly gave me the opportunity to attend many different colleges. Some were better than others but Troy stood head and shoulders above the rest. At first I attributed it to the fact that I just happened to sign up for classes taught by awesome professors and not to the college itsef. That changed when I became hospitalized in the middle of a term. I was hospitalized for a long time and could not finish my classes. Troy went out of their way to make exceptions to several policies. They saved me thousands of dollars that they were not obligated to do. Both professors and administrators not only checked on me but also my family. When I was ready to go back to school they were very supportive. You expect support from family and friends when you're in crisis but I was stunned by the reaction from my school. The people at Troy will forever hold a special place in my heart."

"My experience with the Troy was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were times that I needed extra assistance with paperwork and they were there to help. Most teachers and staff are there to really see students do well and will help anyone that needs some extra time. Teachers went out of their way to ensure that I received the classes I needed to graduate on time. Great School."

"The online programs are extensive, independent study with deadlines and are not based on correspondence. The professors are all master or doctorate level that are attentive, supportive of learning and professional. I chose Troy do to its vast offerings of programs and the flexibility of online attendance."

"This institution has definitely fallen from its good reputation. I took online and attended the campus in Montgomery. For starters, my advisor, whomever it happened to be for any given semester may or may not have even been around. After seeing I had a different one for the semester, I came to find out he was out of the country THAT SEMESTER! If you need to reach financial aid, admissions, etc can be a shot in the dark. After having a final grade of a 91 for a class listed on Blackboard, it was recorded on my transcript as a D! I reached out to my professor, admissions by calls, emails, and finally taking time off work to go on campus for 3 hours. Although it's showing that I passed, the grade is still....WRONG!!!! Talking to other students and another professor, this university is a pain!"

"Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! It's not worth the money I've forked out! The parking is horrible & they ticket you so much for little things! The campus life SUCKS! the location is horrendous! The faculty/staff are only there for the check, not to assist you? Fees on top of fees! I'm pretty sure a "breathing air" fee is in the works. I wouldn't recommend Troy to ANYONE!"

"Academic advising is a joke. They messed up several of my classes"

"The administrations is horrible. They mess up paper work or fail to change things or record things which makes it hard on the student (especially when they say you own them money because they have you listed as part time instead of full time student which cuts into grant money). The student adviser I had was horrible. She never did anything for me and when I had a problem, she had a nasty attitude. Financial aid--I think that is a hoax because they were never available when I needed them. The teachers have the classes set on auto pilot so you rarely get any feedback from them. This means they rely on pre-programmed tests and the answer keys were wrong in every one of those classes. It is a major headache getting your grades corrected, and that messes with your GPA. I have had to go to the dept chairs twice and they were no help. They basically take the teachers side even when you have proof that he or she is wrong. It is really sad. It is the Walmart of colleges. Bad management, bad quality... just bad everything."
