Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2019

I enjoy going to UMA but i feel that the classes are rushed and not enough time to learn the material. The instructors are friendly and usually respond in a timely manner. They also provide other online resources when help is needed. This course is more self taught than one on one.

Ultimate Medical Academy (UMA) has you best interest at heart from start to end. I feel like I have gained an addition to my family with all the staff at UMA. They want you to finish on top. Not just enough to get your diploma, but to exceed in your K ow ledge so that you have all the skills needed to get the career you are looking for. Definitely a school that I would recommend to everyone if they want the best of the best.

Degree: Healthcare Management
Graduation Year: 2019

I was told about UMA from a family friend, she graduated with an Associates degree and right after she graduated, they helped her find a good paying job. At UMA, they want to see you succeed, to me that is so important to have a support system. They are available to you for almost any question you have, my teacher and I even text back and fourth. I read the comments that say negative things, I believe you get what you give, so true and for finding a job, I think it has alot to do where you live. In a smaller city, of course it will be harder to find a job! Im glad either way Im taking that step into becoming a college graduate!

Degree: Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary
Graduation Year: 2018

First off let me start by saying I love this school. All of my instructors have been very helpful and my advisors have been even better. I am a few classes away from graduating and I cannot wait. I see all of the negative reviews and I honestly feel that everything is what you make it. Although they state that they will help with finding a job, interviewing, and taking the MAA certification, everything else is really up to you. Finding a job is not going to be easy but if you stay persistent and focus on what you really want you will get it. This school keeps in touch with you and they really encourage you to be the best. I am currently in the honor society and I am also an ambassador. So again it is all about what you make of it.

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2017

Started here in 2012 and was given the opportunity to finish in 2016. I was happy till I graduated couldn't get a job because no one really acknowledges the schools national accreditation. Please attend a regionally accredited college especially if you plan to transfer. Now I'm doing what I should have in the first place, attending a local community college with a transfer degree program totally online with hopes of finally finishing my Bachelor's and hopefully a Masters degree. Other than that the staff was positive helped me through the process but they are a little too persistent.

Degree: Health/Health Care Administration/Management
Graduation Year: 2019

UMA is by far the best college ever. I have attended two different colleges and the difference are very noticeable. UMA has a great support system for an individual to succeed in their academic goals. An individual is assigned to a support person and this individual is there for you every step of the way. It does not matter if you are having study issues, personal of health your counselor is there for you all the way. Wither it is for listening, referrals, or just support they make the difference. In fact, I would love to acknowledge my counselor who is out of this world Rubie Rodriguez. Without you, I would not have made it this far. Thanks for being there in the worst and best times of my schooling.Even the virtual library has great videos on how to do anything within your career focus.

I think UMA was a great school. They really wanted their students to achieve a good education. Even after graduating the school Latasha helped answering questions for me about continue my education. When I attended the school I felt like they took the time to hear my concerns. I felt like all my questions even with financial aid was handled in a timely fashion. My advisor truly cared. If I had a question about an assignment. My instructors got back to me within 24 hours. I do feel like if you planning to go to college, especially online college. You need to be focused and self-motivated.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2015

This is a WASTE of time. I did 2 years worth. I owe over $17,000 to this online school.. that's INSANE. I was NOT informed of how ridiculous my final total would be. Ill be paying on this until Im dead. Nobody even takes a degree from here seriously. Honestly, go to an actual college. Not online. Plus once you graduate they call you CONSTANTLY. They even would call my JOB?! Just to ask my boss a bunch of questions about me.. She was beyond irritated with them and me over it.

Degree: Medical Office Management/Administration
Graduation Year: 2018

From the beginning the experience was amazing for me. Everyone I have been in contact was extremely helpful and kind. My academic advisor was very instrumental in my success. They kept me focused and rooted in my studies. The program itself was very manageable with my already busy life. I would say that you will get out of this program what you put in it. It seems that they have made virtually impossible to fail if you put in the work. Best decision I have ever made!!!
