"I liked UMA very much. I think all faculties were very helpful in every way they could be. I started with my degree then went back for my associate which I finish that March 2016. I would like to give a shout out to every employee at UMA and thank you for your support because without you guys I wouldn't made it to the end."

"I have been pleased with the help fro.m the people. But not to happy that they said all my financial aide was gone and didn't get what was left, which makes no sense to me. I was signed up for the wrong class but hopefully I can still take the medical coding like I wanted to if not I going be mad because I am a single mother barely making ends meet. I had to get a loan and been trying to find scholarships and grants but can't find none. It would so help me because I work 3 jobs and still can't make the bills. But I hoping I still get financial aide to cover what I going for which is medical coding. But if not there will be big issues."

"I normally don't do reviews, but I was very displeased with this school. I am enrolled currently, but I haven't even learned anything. They won't receive my calls, but they will blow up your phones 24/7. They messed up financial aid and said I've used 50% when it hasn't even been in the mail, they opened up to account which one says I'm not married and the other says I'm married. I've told them repeatedly that I was married, but haven't dropped the other one. They also force you into signing the documents for the enrollment process and won't go over any of the criteria with you. Right now, I'm transferring to Ashford University because they spent well over 3 hours explaining everything to me, unlike this school did. DO NOT ENROLL HERE! It's just a waste of time and money."
Dan Soschin - 3/1/2016

Hi Hope, please send me an email at social@ultimatemedical.edu with a good time to call you. Based upon your note, we're trying to connect with you on the phone to answer your questions, but we cannot get a hold of you. Or, please call UMA Cares at 800-509-5474. They will happily assist. We will go over everything again with you, document by document, just like when you enrolled, and when you applied for the loans. We are required to do this, and have records that show UMA reviewing all documents with each student. We're here to help you.

"I'm currently attending UMA. It's a pretty good school so far. I just would like to know when I will receive my grants. On my financial aid it says the estimated disbursement date is February 10, 2016 but how long after the estimated disbursement date when I receive my check?"

"I am a UMA alumni twice. My first degree in MAA & PhT. 2014/2015. It's the best online college that I will recommend to anyone. You work at your own pace with no rush unless you put thst on yourself. They never gave up on me when I wanted to give in. They called me to see if I am doing well with my classes and when I needed one on one tutorial they were available. There are so many tools that UMA provides and they have added so many more. You will have a lot of support system and they are a accredited school as well to get your bachelor. When you graduate they make sure you have the education you need to be successful. They help you land a job and believe me it will take time but you will have a job that's 100% guaranteed. My coaches, instructors, advisors on web application specialist work very closely with you. There are many more and they know who they are. Thank you UMA for standing by my side and helping me through my hard times and not giving up on me."

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2016
"It was very easy to get started. They called me and I found out that my program could be covered by grants and a student loan. I spoke with admissions just 3 weeks before my class started on 9-7-15. I am still currently in my program, graduating in June. The process was very easy, got my books via UPS just a week before school started. The helped me start off with success. I love this school. A lot of the student comments that I have seen say that you get what you put in. It is totally true. I give 100% in all my classes and I am currently on the Dean's List. I have never been on the Dean's list before and it is very exciting. Having an honor like that will definitely give me confidence when I go job hunting. The only thing I can say is that there was some shortage of communication in regards to getting new books for my next course. Other than that, great school and staff."
Ashonta - 2/10/2016

"Waste of my time and money! Told me I should move where the jobs are, cause I don't live near a major city! Told me my husband should quit his job so we can move to the city, not going to happen! Should have never done this school should have done one that I have actually heard of! Now, calling and harassing friends and family! So uncalled for!!"

"I have also been scammed by this school they called me a billion times at first, I got emails and things from them . I had ask 2 months ago about my student loan I was told I had extra I signed for them to send it to me now they claim it aint there and it takes weeks to request it. So I ask why tell me this is what is left after school and is mine if I want it. But in same breath when I ask how they have the right to tell me when I get what is mine or how they choose what an when you get anything if they not paying it back. I feel this school is a TOTAL SCAM I am going to apply for another school an get my loan put torward a school that is actually heard of before."
Dan Soschin - 12/8/2015

Hi Renotta, I'm so sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulty with financial aid. I will have a member of our team reach out to you with additional clarification. We have to follow the rules and regulations established by the Federal government when it comes to loan disbursement. We gain no benefit in your frustration, but we have to follow the regulations. We'll give you a call to better explain things; perhaps we didn't do that as well as we could have the first time around. If you'd like to contact our office of student finance, they can be reached at 877-246-7918.

Ashonta Johnson - 12/8/2015

The instructors are really experienced and they have office hours so you can talk or chat with them about the work for the week.
