"The program was very accommodating to people that still have to work, but still want to pursue a degree. The best part about the school is that you can acquire a degree of your choice in a shortened time period. I would recommend this school to other people. The classes were also challenging and I was able to apply what I had learned to my current job."

"As a result of my studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautic University (ERAU), I invented an Aviation Safety System and definitely prepared me for my future career. Many other universities offer only a piece of paper on graduation and not the skills needed to enter the job market."

"Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide (ERAU-WW) campus is an excellent place to get an education in related to the aeronautical industry. The provide classes that are both in classroom or online. This provides student the flexibility to choose courses that meet their needs. The worldwide campus is designed for non traditional students or students that are working full time with many of the in class courses beginning in the evening. The university as a whole is really supportive of the military and is understanding when duty calls the student away unexpectedly. My favorite quality of the educational opportunity at ERAU-WW is their rolling (and accelerated) semesters. Each semester is designed to last for 9-11 weeks. In class options have 5 semesters throughout the year with several classes offered during each. The online classes have a rolling semester option in the same time limit but new courses begin 10 out of the 12 months every year. This gives students an opportunity to take classes when they can either afford to or when their schedule permits. Finally, the instruction provided at ERAU is professional and taught by knowledgeable professionals from within the fields that they teach."

"Embry-Riddle offered challenging and enriching course curriculum that stimulated my mind, and kept me very busy during each class. However, the flexibility that online classes afforded me was the ability to spend more time with my family while I was able to self-pace many of my classes. As an air traffic controller in the military, I was able to apply my knowledge of aeronautics to my job, and also learn an incredible amount about the legal, social, and environmental influences on the aviation industry. The diversity of the classes also presented amazing opportunities to experience working with and interacting with my peers and instructors from all around the world. I would recommend ERAU to anyone who is pursuing an aviation related degree because the level of service and expertise I received from ALL agencies in the school (instructors, counselors, advisors, financial aid, etc.) was professional, respectful, and dignified. I am proud to be an alumni of ERAU and look forward to pursuing even higher education with this incredible institution."

"Military friendly school. Professional experienced in aeronautics staff. Very understanding during deployments and TDYs. Quality of education is comparable with other colleges, it is regionally accredited and offers Bachelor's Degrees with affordable tuition. They also lower tuition to match DoD TA for Military Members."

"Embry Riddle Aeronautical University was a great school and aviation program to augment a career in military aviation. By far it was the best decision one could make to be a stepping stone for success as far as professional development and promotions. ERAU is very familiar and well aligned with the military and its education policies and tuition assistance. It made pursuit of a bachelors degree seamless and totally relevant to my 24 year career. Granted any college level course work is challenging but the important thing is to enjoy the field of study and Embry-Riddle certainly made it fun and worth while."

"Embry Riddle Aeronautical University has proven to be the greatest decision I could have made while being a student and a active duty service member. The professors really understand your military life and adjust where they can. Being active duty means that I can be stationed or sent anywhere in the world. There has been times I have been overseas o n different time zones and my professors were always very understanding. I will recommend this school for a active duty service member wanting to further their career."

"The course work was challenging, interesting, and incredibly helpful in preparing me to step into the aviation career field. The school is well known and my degree has not gone unnoticed. The instructors were knowledgeable, their aviation/subject-matter experience greatly contributed to a better overall learning experience. The hardest part for me was dealing with the campus advisors and the VA using my GI Bill. Most of the people were uninformed and there were multiple mishaps with payments. I do recommend keeping track of every single transaction between the VA and this school right down to the last dollar. My degree was withheld because of a mix-up that the school caused, which in turn held me back from various employment opportunities waiting for my transcripts."

"I attended ERAU for my Master's degree in Aeronautical Science (MAS). They have since upgraded the actual name to MSA for Masters of Science in Aeronautics which I agree needed to be done to coincide with all the other Master's programs on the market. ERAU is the number one school when it comes to aviation. If you go anywhere in the aviation community and let them know you received your degree from ERAU they will know you received an outstanding education. I took advantage of taking classes in several different modalities to include face-to-face, online, EagleVision Classroom, EagleVision Home (like Skype) and blended. I totally recommend taking classes in as many modalities as you can so you know what is the best way for you to learn and it exposes you to new environments and new technologies. I have found ERAU is on top of their game when it comes to using new technology to include the virtual labs that are offered. I felt this added to my classes even when I wasn't able to take the class in a face-to-face environment. The cost for taking courses is quite expensive compared to other programs however, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. ERAU is a regionally accredited, private, non-profit University, which were all important to me. Financial aid is available along with several scholarships both in the school and with outside sources. With outside sources, if you are in the aviation industry and go to the aviation sources, attending ERAU definitely has it's advantages. For finances, the books are quite pricey also but I have found that they are pricier when you are studying for the advanced degrees anyway. Some of the professors have gone to online books, which are actually cheaper and more accessible, especially when you are traveling or are in a military deployment status. They do take all VA funding and ERAU is a yellow-ribbon school. When it comes to counseling and advisors. I had some issues with the admissions counselors but after that, the advisors were FANTASTIC. I started with the online campus because I didn't know where I was going to be. It takes them a while to answer emails and I never got right through on the phone but once I transferred to the local campus (they are located all over the world) I didn't have any more problems. If I needed to talk to someone, I either called, sent them an email (answered within 24 hours - even on the weekends) or went in to see them (my preferred method of communication). I learned early on in my academic career to get everything in writing and ERAU continued with that philosophy. The advisors never quibbled with me on this and neither did any of the professors or aids I worked with. Even the library puts everything in writing. If I never wanted to actually 'go' to the local library, I didn't have to. ERAU's library is pretty awesome. They have all the latest research and periodicals and you can even 'check' them out. They will send you videos and books (even classroom required books) for your use and you just return them when you are finished using them (or by the end of the course). ERAU has lots of benefits even if they are a little pricier than most Master's programs. Before I even finished my second class I was receiving career services information. I've been finished with my degree for two and a half years and still receive career services on a regular basis. The best thing is that I don't receive the traditional 'we want money' emails like I still do with my undergraduate school. Downfalls; Cost is the biggest one, sometimes I felt like I was just another face in a class (only once or twice out of 15 classes), too many degrees to choose just one, cost of books required for class that you may or may not use (this was very frustrating)."

"ERAU was an awesome experience, full of extremely knowledgeable professors in an encouraging environment. Honestly, without scholarships I would be in debt for at least a decade because it is a private institution, but it would have been well worth the money"
