"A.T. Still University (ATSU) was a great learning experience for me. The courses were rigorous and you have to do the work. There were no "easy A's." Each grade I received I earned. The faculty were helpful and always willing to provide any assistance needed. The doctoral project was the most challenging. Although a dissertation was not required, the Applied Research Project (ARP) consists of the same elements of a dissertation. The literature review, proposal, data collection, data analysis, and dissemination is required. An oral defense of the project is also required. As a working professional, the online program at ATSU enabled me to obtain my doctorate."

"KCOM is an interesting medical school. It focuses on helping students, and I feel everyone of the staff and faculty aims to see us achieve our goals. It is not a school for "Gunners" so if you need competition to do well this is not the school for you. We liberal share our notes and help each other. I can honestly say I love this school."

"A. T. Still PA program was all in all a great experience. The faculty were very helpful and supportive although the program is very rigorous and intense. The location is great and there is very affordable living surrounding the campus. Due to it being a suburb location there is not much public transportation, so a car would be necessary. The only con of this graduate program was the rotation/clinical placement. There were times throughout my schooling that I did not have a clinical rotation set up until the very last minute and sometimes I had to set them up myself. It is my understanding that the school is aware of this downfall however and is trying to improve this area."

"KCOM is a great place for those who wish to study to become a doctor (D.O.) without many distractions. The cost of living in Kirksville, MO is very affordable, but there is nothing much to do in the area. The education level of KCOM, however, is top-notch, especially compared to other D.O. schools. KCOM probably boasts the best board-examination (COMLEX) passing scores on a yearly basis, and has terrific faculty and staff that offer constant support."

"Pros: ATSU is staffed with passionate, knowledgeable, motivational professors. They sincerely want their students to succeed and work hard in a collaborative effort in providing current evidence based practice. AZ is a fun, affordable place to live. Some local activities include bike riding, hiking, sight seeing, and working out at the YMCA on campus. Cons: Although there is little diversity represented on campus, several educational and social programs are on campus to provide a safe and open environment. The weather can reach over 100 degrees F."

"The program is rigorous and faculty is incredibly knowledgable. The size of the classes (small) limits social participation. Overall, a wonderful school."

"The SOMA program at A.T. Still University provides a diverse way of learning medical schools curriculum that are scheme based. The curriculum is just as hard as any medical school program at an extremely fast pass that provide hands on experience in your second year (working at a clinic). Overall, Arizona is a perfect place to hone my medical skills with so many hospitals and excellent doctors to assist. For me when choosing a medical school I could not think of a better match than what was offered through A.T. Still university."
