"Adelphi is an excellent school. The staff is very supportive and provide resources needed in order for you to be successful while completing your academic studies. The classes are small and intimate, which is great, so you can receive the one on one if needed. Unlike city universities, where you can sometimes feel like just a number."

"Adelphi University is known for its school of Social Work, and I might say that it does live up to its reputation. I received a stellar education at Adelphi and was hired by the agency that I interned for through the school. The field placement assignments are well organized and excellent in providing instruction in social work practice."

"This program was pretty good. I went to the satellite location so I really can't speak about the campus. It was quite expensive."

"Since getting accepted to Adelphi University, faculty has been available to assist in any way from registering for classes to guiding me when filling out my promissory note. I would encourage prospective students to attend Adelphi University because of the quality of support that is given from faculty in order to build for your career! I look forward to attending in the Fall of 2014."

"The Master's in Social Work program at Adelphi University provides a lot of flexibility. There are full time and part time options for completing your degree. The staff members/ advisors are very supportive and encouraging. When it comes to field placements, they do ultimately choose your internship. However, they definitely take your needs into consideration. The only con to this graduate program is if students do not want to be stuck with loans this might not be the graduate school for you. Since this is a private school it is more on the expensive side compared to CUNY colleges. However, Adelphi is considered to be affordable compared to other private universities."

"Adelphi is a good program to receiver your MSW at. The cost of tuition is a little high, but the school is well known on Long Island and has a good reputation. I was able to practice in two placements during school, which were vital and helpful to my further studies in the MSW program. Professors were available and willing to help. Did not spend enough time on-campus to rate campus life because I was a commuter student."

"I think that my graduate program has many pros. I am taking four foundation year classes and I also have an internship 3 times a week at a mental health agency. I believe that this program will prepare me for a career in the field of social work. I am currently taking classes on oppression in society, social welfare, clinical practice, and human behavior. The semester started two weeks ago and I cannot think of anything that I am dissatisfied with. The only con is that there is hardly any parking on campus."

"So far, I enjoy my graduate program. I just wished they would have given me more scholarship money. I cannot barely afford school but I am making it work. The faculty cared about the progress and success of each student. I love that about them and it makes my experiences worthwhile."
