"Students at Albany Law School have to work hard to learn the actual law and what they need to know to pass the professors' exams. Furthermore, Albany Law is a public interest law school, so the school tends to pushes out students who generally after graduation go work for the government as in-house counsel or prosecutors."

"The school teaches the basics of law but does not have much in the way of concentrations. If you practice in New York it is offline school based on the New York practice"

"Albany Law School is currently experiencing some restructuring, but it is amazing to be part of the transition. The deans have been very receptive of student input and forthcoming about the underlying reasons for altering class and faculty sizes in order to ensure the life of the school and the value of our law degrees."

"Going to law school is a tough decision to make. There is a lot of work which culminates at one grade at the end of the semester. Albany is a great place to attend law school, however. Albany Law is the only Law School in the capital region and therefore the legal community is tight knit. Also, the capitol and judicial buildings are all right here for us. The faculty for the most part is great, all very accessible. It's a close knit, small school and I'm happy I decided to join the community."
