"Pros - accessibility of faculty, friendliness of the students, flexible schedule, ease of access to shadowing opportunities, and availability of community service opportunities, free coffee. Cons - non-modern library with little sunlight, could use technology better in histology labs."

"While you might be in a smaller town, there are advantages to that when you are in a competitive and fast-paced program. You have opportunities to visit the outdoors with hiking trails close-by as well as participate in more metropolitan activities if you drive out a bit. The workload and education may be typical of most medical schools."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my past 3 1/2 years at Albany Medical College. The academics are top shelf and I have met so many incredibly bright and talented people both staff and fellow students. I am fully confident that my educational experience from Albany Medical College will prepare me to be a skilled doctor and I look forward to starting my residency after I graduate to prepare me for my chosen field of medicine. I would highly recommend this medical school to any prospective medical student."

"Excellent value and quality of education. However, the city is small and local networking opportunities are limited."
