"Oh man.. oh man.. Where do I begin... I know for a fact everyone that has gone to this school has seen the disgusted look they get when a potential employer hears you are an Everest graduate. They cringe. I got lucky that the Dr. I worked for (Externship) wanted to help re-educate me. He trained me more in a month than all the training I got in school. I was never able to work for any other facility other than the one where I Externed. I then got frustrated and started looking for any sort of job. (Not in the medical field) I worked for multiple attorneys over these last 4-5 years and now work for a Title Company in Downtown Los Angeles. Where I am now is a great job and opportunity for advancement is tremendous. I plan to stay in this industry. I am still in debt to Everest. Yes I know... 5 years later. Honestly, I am taking care of it now BUT reluctantly. I know its my name and my credit and all of that BUT I hate that I have to pay for an education I never received. I have many regrets in my life but Everest is definitely in my top 5. I would not recommend this school to anyone. Please do your research and find yourself a honest college, that is TRULY interested in YOUR success. God Bless"

"Stay away from Everest. All they want is money. I didn't even finish my program because I felt like I was not getting the right education. They still call and ask if I'd like to finish and all they get is an earful. No apologies. They say that they'll help with payments. Ha what a joke. They do not care about anyone. Stay away from this place."

"My first week attending the school wasn't what I expected but my instructor talked me into staying the whole 8 months. They told me that I was going to learn a lot , get a great job after I finished. My instructor didn't Know much she stayed on facebook majority of the time while we got on the computers and learned things on our own dealing with a medi soft program. during the lecture hour she joked and talked about sex majority of the time. she didn't know how to spell or explain things to us, some of the students in the class knew more than she did. We all got 4.0 gpa in that class she didn't really care if we knew the information or not. I tried to enroll into another College so I asked them for my transcript and they didn't have that they only gave us a grading scale. Once I graduated they did help me find a job but I was making less money than what I was making at my other job before I started going to college. Its very hard to find a job in Medical Administrative Assistant especially if you are an Everest College student...I should have left when I had a chance before I got myself in all of that debt. Most of my classmates are in the same situation that I'm in. Some are still CNA's like they were before going to Everest College or went back to their old jobs. I hate Everest College!!"

"Worst school ever, never have I seen so many untrained individuals. They make mistakes and the student suffer from them. They only say sorry, but the mistakes continue. They have no consequences when they mess up. You can't do much about it because your're an online student. This is my last semester and then I will transfer."

"Save your time your money and your right to a real education do not go to this school. From the moment you call them to inquire about their programs the harassment and mind games begin. Once they have your number they don't stop calling it doesn't matter if you tell them to stop, or say that you changed your mind no excuse or valid reason matters to them they will keep calling until they get you either so mad you change your number or you end up going to a "campus" for one of their tours. What a joke that your will be, let's start with the fact that your going to inquire about an education not buying a car, that's exactly how I felt. The tour consisted of their representative walking me around the small campus and showing me their "state of the art" computerised boards which to me wasn't all that impressive and what reminded me of a car sales person was when she begin to tell me how the rooms are carpeted and have professional office style leather seats and all classrooms are air conditioned, I thought to myself this seemed very odd for a college tour but i remained optimistic. I quickly noticed the women who worked downstairs in their admissions office quite outnumber the amount of men working there in addition to the fact that they all are dressed in a very sexually driven manner , I thought I was going to a college yet to me it appeared to be a strip club almost. The teachers there are unprofessional , you won't learn in these classes or be challenged to learn rather you will be given the bare minimum amount of work with a lot of mindless chatter , movies and games in class. I know some people will say that's awesome less work except what happens then when those students go into the work force unprepared for what lies before them. This school is purely a business they don't care about the students and it's all about making money. While there I seen tons of people come and go including staff. Save your money go to a junior college or anywhere but Everest. Oh and by the way they have a department called career services it's the biggest joke the interviews and job leads they offer come directly from craigslist and monster jobs. They have no job leads or contacts unless your referring to temp agencies which you can do yourself and save yourself the headache of this school."

"Everest and Cor. online are not good schools, I would not recommend them to my enemy. After asking my course instructors many questions about the course, I got sick of getting the same copy and paste answer, refer to your course material. Sometimes I would ask different questions and get the same copy and paste answers. I actually started asking my high school teacher for help because the Everest instructor was no help. I also was promised the work was at my pace and I could turn in work at any time during the 12 week term, only that was not the case the instructors were making the rules and deciding what was graded and how much to take off for assignments. Not all instructors were bad but none of them were on the same page, there were different rules for each class, I just feel after 72 credited hours of hard learning that I was doing more work teaching me than my college that promised so much was teaching me. I have taken screen shots of students coping and pasting my work in class discussions and the Instructor say, "excellent work!", This would make so angry some times. Then they sent out letters saying they were raising tuition 5 % and books were now going to be Electronic Books, SO you mean to tell me that a E Book cost more than a Paper back book with shipping and handling and printing and you want me pay more for something that is not real? I did not sign up for a school who raises tuition half way threw a bachelors, changes from paper books to e books with any warning( If I wanted E books I would just get on Google books.) I got three weeks into a term without even knowing that the school changed to E books. I had to call the school and ask them where my books were. They told me, "we changed our policy and we use E - Books now it should be in your student user interface. They did this with out any warning. Like a said I would not wish this on my enemy. Also course instructors make discussions based on race, religion and base opinions not from a education stand point but from a what ever they fell like or believe stand point."

"This school is nothing. They are full of lies and have you paying all this money and dont even help you with any jobs afterwards. But they constantly blow up your phone and expect you to pay. How can i pay if i have no job in the field i went to school for. This school is very poor and should be shut down. They lie way too much. Constantly changing the pay of your tuition and etc. I wouldnt recommend this school to anyone! I would tell them to run and never look back!"

"IN 2012 I ATTENDED EVEREST COLLEGE ONTARIO CALIFORNIA AND SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM. AS AN OLDER ADULT THE EXPERIENCE THERE WAS WELCOMING A TRUE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT WITH A WIDE ARRAY OF AGES. AFTER DISCOVERING THAT THIS FIELD LIMITED ME AS A SINGLE PARENT WITH HOURS AND DAYS OF THE WEEK, I DECIDED TO RETURN EVEREST AND TAKE THE MEDICAL BILLING AND CODING PROGRAM. MY CURRENT INSTRUCTOR IS AMAZING SHE IS HELPFUL AND PATIENT AS THE ENVIRONMENT IS EVER CHANGING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COLLEGE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A SHORT TERM SCHOOL GOAL FOR A LIFETIME OF EXPERIENCE."

"Instructors are good however financial aid is horrible. I have been here for 2 semesters and for both they placed a hold on my account even after submitting correct paperwork it took roughly 60 days for anyone to do anything. I will not recommend this school to you keep searching for a better school and also read in papers its a ponzi scheme as well and they were selling off but wasnt notified at the time of enrollment but the school failed to tell me this as well. very sneaky and very very unprofessional! and just a fair warning there is a campus in my state but they decided to put me in a campus on the other side of the country. When they send stipend checks out it takes almost a month to get from them to you as they dont use tracking numbers or direct deposit of any sort. they put the check in regular mail and ship it off its non sense!!!!"

"I am very disappointed with Everest Institute (Marietta, GA). Don't believe that they have jobs awaiting for you after graduation. First they can't keep adequate staff so therefore you're going from counselor to counselor. They lie and say they will help you find employment but then when the time comes to find a job, they give you all these stories about all the other schools that they are competing with for these jobs. Why didn't you tell us that before you got our financial aide money! DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! I have been out of school for over a year and yet to find a job. I have had three different counselors and none have been any help. I don't think they care their just there for a paycheck. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! The whole time you're in school there was always a staff member smiling in your face but as soon as your out of there, Good riddance!! I wouldn't recommend it unless you're already working in this field but just need a diploma."

"They suck you with the belief they really want to help you better yourself. My first instructor was great. She knew what she was talking about. Half way through our second mod she was fired. The other instructor was a really nice lady but didn't know anything about coding. That was what we were there to learn. We ended up generally teaching ourselves. The Claimgear computer system is a joke and had glitches and wouldn't work half the time. They have been cleaning house in the Career Services, Admissions and Instructors. Not one that I started with is there any longer. What a huge cluster."

"When I first started at the Everest in Chesapeake VA 23320 I was extremely excited. I came to the school and they gave me a tour and when you enter the school there is a board up of some of the people who have gotten jobs after they graduated. I was very impressed at that and that made me more excited about attending because I wanted to be one of those individuals. I aced all my courses and ended the school year with a 4.0 GPA. . I was an ambassador for my high academic scores and also had perfect attendance my whole school year. I'm writing this review on Monday June 23, 2014 and I'm still jobless!!! Even with all of my Great academic achievements Deans list, Presidents list etc. I still have no job. Everest is a terrible school i went several times after i graduated to do mock interviews and to get change around my resume to make it more appealing to employers. I would always have to pop up at the school because my career rep never answered his phone and never returned msgs or calls. BRAD MITCHELL is an example of a bed rep and he needs to be fired!! Every time you call the school you can never get up with this man! And when he did it was only through text msgs no on the phone conversation at all. This school is a job. Now I'm back working a retail job trying to keep up with my monthly student loan every month which i can barely afford to pay. People please take my advice and either go to a community college or go to a university and not Everest University!! A real school where they take pride in helping there students meet there goals of being successful. Have you ever wondered how many of the employers who work at Everest went to a Everest college?? NONE!! they all went to universities and community colleges that are accredited schools!! This Everest student loan is just another bill on top of my other bills! so I basically just dug myself into a deeper hole. $17,000 I HAVE TO PAY BACK!!! The reps schedule your appointments back to back so when you meet with them they are rushing you out of there office so they can meet with the next student. Take my advice and take your money else where please people don't end up like me! Employees look at Everest students as a joke!"

"After graduating on the honor roll and with perfect attendance, I was still not able to get hired. The school doesn't show any interest in you once they get your $20k. Pretty much give you a stack of phone numbers of places to call that they pulled straight from the internet and say good luck! Such a joke of a school. 2 years later, unemployed and in debt for the next 15years. Save your time and money."

"My program at Everest is wonderful!! The program is intense and was very fast paced, but well worth it in the end and the instructors are so great and put so much heart into what they do! I was able to get a job within two months after leaving my program and two of my best friends were hired as a Dental Assistant and a Medical Assistant shortly after they graduated. They too love what they do and love the offices and the people they work with. We get so spoiled by the doctors we work for! Lunch every day, Coach purses and Tiffany baubles as gifts for birthdays and holidays, use of their summer cottage for our families. I have a great job and I am loving life, all because I chose to go to Everest!! I was also a work study for the Career Services Department during my time as a student, so I saw how hard they worked and how much heart that team put into trying to mold students into hirable candidates. I would say that any negative comment you read regarding this school comes from a graduate that is just plain un-hirable. Someone that didn’t listen to the advice of their Career Representative and has poor interviewing skills, spotty employment history, and is just plain lazy and doesn’t network themselves! These are the people that I always overheard complaining!"
Teo, an admissions rep from Everest College lies to get more students interested in program

"Admissions Rep, T., G. false information while giving information about their medical assisting program to attract more interest in the program. Beginning of January 2013, I met with T., my admissions rep, who knew I was interest in becoming an RN. I told him, I was only interested in taking a program that would get me a step closer to my RN career. He stated that their MA program would be the best fit for me as oppose to LVN School because " LVNs are running out of work". He also said, there will be bridge courses for MA to RN programs. And as far as LVNs go, they will soon be forgotten as MAs are taking over. I got excited hearing this because I thought this would be a quicker way to become an RN. He also said I would get my CNA certification. Just to clarify, I said "Certified NURSE ASSISTANT" Certification. He said yes, which is another step closer to my goal as an RN. He also said MAs are in demand, and with the help of career services, I should get a job in no time. The truth? -I'm a graduated MA, still applying for jobs along with career services "helping me". They have done my resume for me, so I feel confident my resume is not the problem. It's been months down the road, still no call backs from the leads "they have sent out my resume to". -I have some questions for my admission rep TEO; So can you please tell me more about that school that takes MAs and bridges them off to RN? Can you also lead me to the right direction of where I can get my CNA certification since you said this program would help me? And where you stated I would get time reduced in half for it? OR how about helping me find a school that will take my credits towards my RN PROGRAM. Perhaps you can explain to me or point me in the right direction as far as putting my one year of schooling from EVEREST towards my RN program? (I cant express that enough as I feel I wasted a whole year on this when I could of started my ACTUAL PROGRAM) Since I told you I didn't want to waste time, and that I wanted to JUMP right in to my CORRECT PROGRAM THAT WILL GET ME STARTED ON MY CAREER THAT I WANTED? -No time reduced, as I am treated like a first year nursing student. No special or different, no credits transferred and all I have to carry with me is my knowledge. Which is what leads me to the answer Ive been hearing from my complaint. "But you have a head start out of everyone in your LVN nursing program, it least you have the knowledge" What I think? No, I may have the knowledge and I may be ahead for the little that the MAs and LVNs have in common, but that certainly does not change my graduation date nor the time I wasted in your MA program. Money wasted once again, I didnt want to waste 20,000 dollars to have knowledge, your MA program is not a PRE-REQ to MY NURSING PROGRAM. So stop giving me the excuse "It least you have knowledge and your ahead of your class" I am happy with the education I got (as far as the teachers go) its the admissions department I am not happy with. Why couldn't Teo just say, "look, if you want to become an RN, You should GO TO OUR ONTARIO METRO CAMPUS WHERE WE HAVE AN RN PROGRAM" OR "Perhaps the MA program is not for you as THERE ARE NO BRIDGES from MA TO RN, maybe you should find an LVN program to better suit your needs" Instead of beating around the bush telling me this is a step closer to my RN Career. 5/19/2014 RYAN from the Student Help Line called. I wish I could of explained my story in person because there was a bit of conflict in our phone conversation. She kept talking over me as I was trying to tell her my story, this school has been nothig but tears to me, no one wants to understand me or HELP! Why can't Everest College just LISTEN to me as the student? I paid $20,000 TO BE IGNORED? Lied To? Lead On? Why did she respond to the BBB, as she didn't know what TEO said to me, she wasn't there. It's all lies..Teo is full of promises and lies, and when it boils down to higher staff, all he did was DENY EVERYTHING. I must have a stamp on myself that says NAIVE, because all he had to do was say, this program is not the track for your career goals...."
