"I started my course in 2012 as a PSW, My teacher was amazing!!! I joined in ambassador program it helps my self esteem and I gained more confident. This course helped me a lot. I am so proud that I choose Everest College for my career course. During my days, months in the campus I was eager to learn new things every single day. I was motivated by my teacher Ms J I owe my success from her. One month before my graduation I got HIRED as a PSW at Leisureworld and Elginwood both Long term Care facility. I graduate after 6-8 months with HONOURS and I'm so proud of it."

"Wow you shouldnt go to this school. Teachers are nice but the office is another thing... I was enrolled in for 2 months and they had my transcript for 2 months and after 2 days in school and nights of homework they said I couldnt attend with no compassion. I asked my student rep that because I havent passed that taks test of thats ok and he said he would ask and he never said anything so I assumed it was great and now 2 months later and 2 days after class later they kick me out. WASTE OF TIME ita ridiculous and dissapointing DONT GO HERE its all about money onced your enrolled they dont care."

"Where should I start? I commuted 126 miles a day, was a student coach, had a 3.79 gpa and hardly ever missed school. Now I have a loan, I can't get a job, because no one wants to hire someone without experience. NO ONE! I've had over 15 interviews in 2 mos that I felt a connection with the interviewer and they always say I had a great interview and they'd call me right back. And never do.. But when the loan comes due, they will want some sort of payment. My case worker is supposed to work on finding interviews or line ups, and I really don't think she even found 1 business to apply to. I would never go here again, and can only warn people there are just so many medical assistant jobs out there. You can have all the schooling you want, but in the end if you don't have at least 2 yrs experience to go with it, its a moot point. Good luck"

"Ok so I honestly have just started this program but I found the people nice and helpfull...yes kinda annoying when you are not interested (like me in 2012) but I have 7 month twin daughters and I work full time so to be able to go back to college and I know it sounds like the tv ads but to work around my busy schedule is a blessing and honestly even if the degree isn't a huge step at least I'm back in college and that's what's important right now for me and my family"

"So here is my experience. Everest did help me. It gave me a place to work and study for my certifications and the teachers where able to help me while I did that. I graduated with high honors and walked away from my computer program with 4 certifications. I got a job in my industry after school. But here is the problem with Everest. It is not a real college. I had three teachers that taught all the modular classes. Only one of the three teachers actually taught the class. For example in my Computer Hardware class. My teacher gave us the book and set a time table that said what to read and when to turn in the assignments. Now after that first day the teacher literally sat on his computer and looked at email and facebook ever day while we just read the books. He was there to answer any questions but he NEVER taught the class. Every once in a while a he would get a peer review on the teacher. I feel like my teachers had planned curriculum only for when these this happened. As soon as the other teacher sat down and started taking notes he would finally stand up and go to the chalk board and go over something relevant to the class. The classes were easy to get A's so I spent a lot of time prepping for certifications. I new that I would not have a shot at a job with only a diploma from this school. If you use your time well and set your goals high I believe you can make this program work for you. The education given to you by the school is not great and for the amount of money you are paying this school is a complete ripoff. Anyone going into this school should understand that it is not a high quality education."

"Do not even mention that you might be interested in Everest College. They have been calling me like 10000 time a day even after I told them I am no longer interested in Everest College. Caused me a lot of troubles at work due to those constant annoying calls. I think they are doing so bad so they just literally hunt for every single person"

"It is a rip-off. I am still paiding on my student loan and I have nothing to show for it. I am still in a dead end job. The job placement only helped me for one month. The counselor made it sound like I wouldn't have any trouble getting a job. What a lie. Everywhere I went wanted me to have 2 years of experience. It isn't worth what you pay for it. I regret going and wasting all that money!!!!!! How I would like to get my money back. The instructor was great, but not worth it."

"I can't get my books because I owe $36... I went and sold last semesters book at a store across town for way under cost just to get $35 for them... so I could make a payment... then I go back to my school & they wont take cash. I dont fuck with bank so I dont have checks or a debit card. That's the only forms of payment they accept. So I began calling around & couldn't find no one to help me. So I asked administrators to help & got nothing. One even put me off onto someone else like he didn't give s fuck. And of course that person couldn't help me either. Its fucked up when someone is trying to better themselves its like everything else trust to knock you down. Once your enrolled the school could care less about u..."

"I graduated in June now we are in October. I haven't gotten a call from the school since I graduated. When I went looking for work the gave me a paper with companys to call myself, so much for job placement. The teachers are good but you will be reading more than doing practical work. I recommend you get a list of grads for the program that studied and see how many of them actually got placed. I studdied hvac and maybe the medical field might be better MAYBE!!!"

"I made the biggest (most expensive) mistake by enrolling at Everest.DO NOT do what I did and not check it out!!!!! I had been out of school for 35 years when I enrolled. One of the things I said to admission rep when I was applying was my plan to transfer credits to UNLV and go on for my bachelors. My answer was when time comes we will take care of that. She did not technically lie to me but she led me to believe credits were transferable and come to find out they are not!!! I was out of school for years and did not understand what a "career college" was-(my mistake). Since they do not offer a Bachelor degree I am now SCREWED! All this time and money and if I want to go on I need to start from scratch and the two years there are wasted. Career services is a joke. They are poorly educated themselves and have no clue how to write a decent resume. Paralegals need internships to get your foot in the door and they "don't do that" And the list of employers they have is pretty much non-existent. Your on your own if you actually want to work in the field you are studying. DO NOT let them touch your resume-they write a resume that does not include prior job history and or achievements and only concentrate on schooling and also tell you to add the schooling as if it were expierence and that to me is misrepresentation-A college career service that tells you to lie on your resume, Charming!!! Also they will make appt with you to help with resume etc and then not be there for the appt this happened twice and no apology!!! My time is valuable and they have no respect for that!!Overall they treat older students very poorly. They have no respect for you."

"LAy back down on the couch, unplug that phone out the wall (especially if you already called that number bc they will harrass you until you just cuss someone out)play with ya kids and find a job someone is willing to train you at.(construction is a great place to start for men and women.. men on the field, women in the office, yea i make more doing office work then what I paid $19,000 for nothing for.) If you are looking to further your career, and you have a full time job, and obligations, DO NOT and i repeat DO NOT attend the Norcross GA Campus. When I first came in and spoke to a "career specialist" I explained that I had a new job and i couldn't risk losing it and wanted to make sure my work hours would NOT interfere with my school. The advisor assured me that it would be no problem at all. It was 19,000 just for this program. I didn't get that much help in financial aid because my mom makes too much money, but the thing is.... I haven't spoken to her in six years.. But because I was not 24 they couldn't do just base it off of my income only. I figured that since this was going to get me a great job in a field that I knew i would love. WRONG!! I sent my resume in two weeks after I started to Career Services and didn't get a extern site until one day before my last class. The Career Service Manager told me that the program was not for me because I told her I would not accept a job for $8 an hour after spending all this money to take this class. Why would I do that if I could have just went to McDonalds and not taken out that super expensive loan? I mean come on. And since I worked Mon- Fri 9am-5pm it was a struggle finding anyone I could assist at the hours I was available. I was so pissed that I had made such a big deal about my hours and work and school interference, and they just completely ignored what I was looking for. Then once you pay that money... My rep never talked to me again. lol. She never said hey in the hall or nothing. Once I found my site, the director of my program went to another students site and talked badly about me. What she didn't know is I already knew that doctor and he told me everything she said. What a great way to make everest look like a model citizen school dummy. The only person I loved was my teacher. I was so greatful for her that it had really truely been the only reason I was still in that school. Cause I almost quit a couple times. She made me realize it would only be me I'd be affecting. So I guess my point is, if you have no life, and you can make everest the center of your world and completely bow to every bec and need they have, then this school is for you. If you have a family to support and a job to hold down... this is not going to help you. And FOR SURE do not depend on them to find you a site."

I finish school 5 months ago and I haven't receive my pharmacy tech. licenses.I call them and ask them whats the process with my licenses and their answer is "We don't know, we will call you back" which they never do. Please before you enroll to this school make sure you research other schools first. Don't make the same mistake I made of paying then 17 grand, which my husband is paying because I can't no even get a job for what I study because I don't have my pharmacy tech. licenses!"

"ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT GOING TO EVEREST AND NOT BEING ABLE TO FIND A JOB BUT I JUST RECENTLY GOT HIRED FOR MEDICAL BILLING AT A REPUTABLE ESTABLISHMENT. IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU, YOU HAVE TO BE A GO GETTER AND BE DETERMINED TO MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR LIFE. WHENI STARTED GOING THEIR I DIDN'T HAVE MY HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMA I WAS ABLE TO ATTEND MY CLASSES WHILE AT THE SAME TIME WORKING ON MY GED. EVEREST PROVIDED THE TUTORING AND PAID FOR MY TEST. I PASSED IT THE FIRST TIME. I MAINTAINED A 3.5 GPA WHILE I WAS IN SCHOOL AND I HAD EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE. I CREATED A PORTFOLIO FOR EMPLOYERS TO LOOK AT WHEN I WENT ON INTERVIEWS SO THEY COULD GET AN IDEA OF WHAT KIND OF GRADES I GOT IN SCHOOL AND WHAT KIND OF PERSON I WAS. I WAS IN THE IGNITER PROGRAM AT EVEREST AND ALL THESE THINGS MADE A DIFFERENCE. I DIDN'T SIT AND WAIT FOR EVEREST TO LOOK FOR ME A JOB. CAREER SERVICES WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING ME CREATE MY RESUME, AND I BUILT A RELATIONSHIP WITH EVERYONE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION TO THE SECURITY GUARD. I MADE SURE THAT I KNEW EVERYONE AND THAT EVERYONE KNEW ME. I STAYED OUT OF DRAMA AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND WHENEVER I HAD AN ISSUE I ALWAYS VOICED MY OPINION. EVEREST IS NOT THE BEST SCHOOL AND ITS NOT THE WORST BUT ALOT PEOPLE DO NOT FIND JOBS BECAUSE THEY ARE LAZY."

"Well I went to this school for medical billing and insurance coding. I love the teacher 6am class. She was the best and helpful. She really cared about her students. I learned everything that was needed. My last day of class was on a Monday and then career services found me a great site to interview on Tuesday which I did and started on a Wednsday and I am getting hired. I put a lot of effort followed their rules. Dont leave everything for last minute and dont always expect them to find you a job. You might be honor roll and whatever but the employer might just not like you. Because i was a b students missed a lot and got droped and with all that still got a jobits luck i guess but its a great school."

"I have not ever seen so many BAD reviews in my life...I have experienced nothing but greatness at this school every advisor I speak with is very helpful and polite..The teachers are amazing and really want you to succeed. I truly think this was a blessing for me, I have met great classmates, and learned so much. I have been on the Dean's list every since I started. Now there was one thing that was delayed which was my summer term check, but that was because they had over 20,000 NEW students starting!!!! you mean to tell me 20,000 NEW people starting and this is a bad school, I BEG TO DIFFER.....GREAT SCHOOL, and I have recommended over 5 people which are currently counting down the days of graduation like me!Thanks Good Luck to you all ;)"

"I was looking into an x-ray tech. or OR tech. training. They told me on the phone they had those programs there. I came into the interview/ info meeting and htey tried to talk me into Med. Administration or maybe a massage certificate. Waste of time, and they texted emailed and called me for months after I told them that they had no business doing so. I called emailed and texted them to stop, and they still persisted. They will waste your life. Go through community colleges ann support out education system. These people just want your grant and loan money. The rest does not matter to them."

"I have heard people say many bad things about Everest but to be honest with you I had a great experience there and I can tell you that you get out of school what you put into it. No school is going to find you a job! You have to do the work and try hard and be aggressive. The job market is very competitive and you can't just graduate and expect Career Services to do all the work for you. I volunteered and made connections with employers and I also made sure I attended class everyday and worked hard to learn the material. People need to stop complaining and do the work."

"The school consistently changed teachers and the externship was a joke. its been 4 years since i graduated and still cannot get my foot in the door for any position regarding this field. non of my credits will transfer to other schools, and i never felt ready for the testing. the program was a total waste of money."
