"OK. The Clifton location is dirty, and when I say dirty I mean everything, from the classrooms to the students who don't shower to the instructors who make you put your clean clothes on the dirty floors. You will graduate without knowing anything except the gossip from the other students. Don't go in thinking you will graduate with a good job or any job for that matter. A complete waste."

"I was so excited to find this hybrid program as a mom with young kids. The schedule allowed me to balance home and school well enough to graduate with honors. To say my experience in the field has been a disappointment is an understatement. This school doesn't provide thorough clinical training. They let me graduate with no Hospital experience and no OB and only some observation of breast ultrasound. I have been released from several positions told that I was not properly prepared. Two of my recent interview prospects expressed they don't consider American Institute graduates in sonography good prospects."

"Sadly I do not want to use my full name, in fear that the school would go after me. My class mates and I have had several issues, form the school being dirty, the staff being unprepared. The director is rude and is not helpful as soon as they get their money , they do not care about you. Getting your final paper work is a nightmare even if you do get it. Please travel to a different school if you can, you do not need to be stressed and angary all the time like most of us were."

"My adviser Lorie is really helpful and hardworking she helped me got into American Institute she took her time and went through the requirements and tasks I'm going to need to do at this school in order to get ready for graduation. I'd recommend anyone to this institution of education."

"It’s a great school that interacts with the students. My advisor was very helpful & informative. I reach out to Theresa any time of the day and she ALWAYS responds. I will definitely recommend this school & Theresa to my friends/family who are interested in pursuing their career."

"It's difficult to admit you've been scammed. The sales pitch with an "act now" gimmick should've been my first clue. I was in a difficult point of my life and wanted to make changes. I had a BS and MA, I should have known this was a scam. Truthfully, part of me did know on some level, "but how could this place exist in the open if it weren't on the up-and-up?" I thought erroneously. Their main focus is attracting new students/marks and their career placement is laughable at best. I would definitely advise any potential student to choose a different school."

"American Institute Toms River I am a graduate of AI Toms River. I can not express how wonderful this school was for me. I started there needing a career, sick of working in the food industry. I am a mother of 2 and needed some where with night classes. The teachers and counselors are supportive and go above and beyond to help you succeed. After I graduated the career counselor helped me with my resume and job placement. The instructors set you up for success in your field, and exams in school, and state exams. With the test prep I received I passed my radiology boards the first time! I can not Thank this school enough. They helped change my life for the better."

"Although I was successful, I realized too late that the reason why I was successful was because of my own perseverance and want to be in the field. It's like, this was just a way for me to get 8 months to take some time off of work and actually study. The instructor was nice, but it was obvious that he was not cut out to be a teacher. The books provided were not up to date and I had a lot of trouble with the poor netbooks supplied so that you can do your "Work". Overall, the American Institute Clifton NJ Campus is a horrible school to attend. If you're going to spend money, go to a community college, take an Information Technology course and gain exposure to theory while working on Networking at home. Afterwards, try keeping up to date with the field via email subscriptions to Tech DLs like SANS. I hope this review helps people out in the future because I had to pay off a loan that ultimately meant nothing for my education."

"This school is a joke. The program left us completely unprepared. We did not get a clinical rotation so we have no experience outside of a classroom. They promise to help you find a job but then never follow through. I would never recommend this program to anyone."

"This program was a joke. I would not recommend this school at all. The instructor taught us out dated and incorrect information. We were unprepared for our clinical rotations. I couldn't wait to be done with this program. I would recommend finding another program."

"This place is horrible the staff are not on the same page, the classroom looks nice at first. but it is a joke I should have listened, they will lie to you to get what they want their staff are jokes and the school looks like it is just a rented out building they teach yea but getting a job from here is laughable. DO NOT GO HERE there are better ways to waste your money."

"This school is horrible. I would never recommend this poor excuse for a "college" to anyone. American Institute in Toms River has an uneducated, uninformed, rude, condescending staff. The "administrators" and "directors" are laughable. The students are robbed of their money, time, and education. You are treated like a child, reprimanded for absurd things, written up if you have an opinion, and forced to sit in 2-3 hour long seminars so that local banks can promote themselves. The students are seen with only dollar signs over their heads. There are also constant fights between students. Many fights become physical and I felt very unsafe... especially when police officers surround the building on a monthly basis."

"I am a current Diagnostic Medical Sonography Student and enjoy the school and the program thoroughly. I do believe they have the resources to help you achieve your goal of becoming a registered DMS. The instructors are knowledgeable and care about your success. I will post another review after I complete the program in December of 2016. As of now, it's been great and I have learned a lot in a short amount of time. Be advised that this program is for those who have already received a Bachelor's degree and are able to read their texts/online journals on their own, complete assignments online, and learn through online videos and self-teaching at times. Overall, I am satisfied with the program and believe I will do very well upon completion."

"Worst school ever they tell you lies. They lies to everybody they create a world of illusion you think you going to get a job as soon as you finish school but no. I did the cons program i finished on November 2015 and still no job. i have try to get in contact with the career service department and they just tell me to apply to job that i already have apply. I wouldn't recommend this school to nobody i would recommend Lincoln Tech is 100% better than this shit."

"THE BOOKS WERE OUTDATED WE KEPT FAILING TEST. WE HAD TO FIGHT FOR UPDATED BOOKS IN ORDER TO PASS OUR TEST. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A HIGH DEMAND IN MEDICAL CODING AND BILLING. ITS A LIE YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LEAST 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THAT AREA. ITS NOW 2012 AND STILL NO JOB. THEY WOULDNT RETURN MY CALL NOR TALK TO ME. THEY DID MY RESUME AND LIED. I GRADUATED IN NOV.2010 STILL NOT WORKING IT JUST WASTED MY TIME. I DONT KNOW WHY WE HAVE TO REPAID A DEBT WHEN THEY ARE AT FAULT. WE SHOULD NOT NOT HAVE TO PAID ANYTHING."

"I was in a car accident that has affected my dominate arm. (I am left handed.) As a result I was asked to make up 6 exams, which I did. Ten points were deleted from all of my exams plus an additional 15% were deducted because I was not in class. I was told I had passed. My ending GPA 1.96.I initally went to the school for sonography and was told I would fail the practical part of the course because my pictures were not clear enough. The whole time I did this with my right hand when again I am left handed."
