"The opportunities for mentoring and growing spiritually are usually on display. However, the chance to mentor online students seems to be lacking. There seemed to be confusion and chaos in some of the departments and units which are critical to the university. As a result, students sometimes receive poor service or communication because of the breakdown in the departments that need to communicate and collaborate. While some professors seem committed and hardworking, there are some that are very laidback and need to be evaluated and assessed continuously by customers and supervisors. Additionally, the university needs a functioning and robust career services department to help students with their career aspirations and goals. Academic chairs may mean well, but sometimes they are so inundated with advising and teaching that they may have no time to help students plan their careers adequately. Students pay a premium to attend this university; therefore, the services should be top-notch and not lackluster."
