"I am in love with my school. The staff is there to answer any and all questions. The professors are warm and knowledgeable and really want to help you succeed. It is kind of expensive, but it is a private, Christian university. It is totally worth it. I feel as though I'm getting the education I need to compete in my selected career choice."

"The strongest point of this program is that it is a cohort. So you begin the program with a group of 20 people and finish the program with those same people. Cons were that the cost of living in the surrounding area are high. Its hard doing a grad program while trying to work enough so that you can pay to just live day to day."

"Azusa Pacific University has a great Master/Credential blended program. I am currently in the Professional Developmental School program that is a more in depth and focused program. The teachers are all experienced and full of great information. This program has helped produce well rounded and experienced teachers for many years. I love going to class because my fellow students are warm and welcoming and my master teacher is wonderful. The amount of work is hard but that is to be expected in a graduate level program."

"It's not a competitive program to get accepted to, which is a con, but a pro is that the professors are very accessible and make learning interactive."

"Azusa Pacific is highly recognized in the community and throughout California. I feel confident that I will be a more marketable candidate for teaching because of attending APU. The faculty and staff are supportive and encouraging, as well as well-trained and experts in their fields. Because of attending a regional center, I feel like most graduates at this location miss out on certain activities and atmosphere, but nevertheless it is an excellent school."

"Azusa prepares students for an actual career path with critical skills and solid foundations. The staff are friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to help their students. It's a great school with great programs and well worth the investment. As a private school, the tuition is affordable, making loan repayment feasible within a few years after graduating. The only aspect that could make this school a better choice would be more scholarships and financial aid offered to graduate students."

"Attending Azusa as a non-christian, has been eye opening into how religion and individual beliefs influence the therapeutic process. I am very pleased with my selection of Azusa, because of the individual participation, ability to get to know and feel comfortable with my peers, and the passion the professors utilize in their teaching. This is a great university for those who desire to be with other Christians, or for those like myself, who wish to learn and understand one of the more dominate religions of our society."

"The campus is very small, but I do like the support given from the professors. They actually care about their students and want them to do well. I also like the networks established at this school, and they will prepare me for my career once I am finished with my graduate work."

"I love my graduate program! I love how the staff is very helpful and receptive to questions and being approached. I also love how all of the staff is active in the community. The classroom discussions and lessons are very interesting and engaging. The downside is having 3 hour long classes, but I guess that is what grad school is about, more work. Also, there is not a lot of financial aid available from the school. The individual programs offer some aid but most of the aid that is offered is through student loans. All and all, I LOVE my school!"

"The pros of my graduate program is that it offers both a secular and religion aspect of our major. The faculty are very supportive and offer extended help. Another pro is that in my cohort there is only 12 other students, which makes us really learn the material and have that 1 on 1 with the professor if needed"

"I am attending the campus in San Diego and really like it. The class sizes are small and the professors are very approachable and respond quickly to questions. Financial aid was made available to me right after I completed my FAFSA and I received a separate letter with all kinds of options. Although I declined them, I felt that it was nice that they were trying to help in that regard. Every time I have a question, the professors, administrative personnel, and even the dean reply promptly."

"I love my school, the program like any other graduate program is very demanding. I believe that I have grown both personally and professionally as a direct result of my experience in the Leadership program. The only issue I have with the overall experience is the area. Azusa is not the safest neighborhood but the school itself is very transparent with the issues going on within the community and they provide campus safety. I don't feel unsafe on campus but because the school provides the students with email alerts whenever something happens near campus it creates a feeling of uneasiness. All my instructors have been very helpful and my classmates are awesome. I highly recommend APU for graduate school."

"The Leadership Masters program at Azusa Pacific University allowed me to gain knowledge and understanding in the field of student affairs and leadership and expanded my experience with student affairs by serving, learning, and leading on a college campus. This program lays the foundation needed to be a great leader and equip others with the skills necessary to lead."

"Azusa Pacific University is the only school that I wanted to attend for grad school. I actually found out about the school my sophomore year in college at Florida State University. APU was the only graduate school I applied for because of their Youth Ministry program. They proved to show as the best one in the U.S. The pros of the program are that the faculty is extremely friendly, and the program is precise. I've emailed the school of theology for 5 months, and the dean has communicated with me speedily. All my questions have been answered and with love. The dean actually called me up to congratulate me for being accepted into the program. I felt so special and I am confident that they really take good care of their students. My degree offers courses not only teaching the basic fundamentals of youth ministry, but courses about understanding Greek and Hebrew. These languages are the earliest languages of the Bible. My degree also requires that the students go out and work for the community/church. It's just an overall great hands-on program that really pushes students to succeed out in the real world. Classes start September 3rd this fall. I really need any financial aid to assist me because APU is on the opposite coast of where I live. It is my dream school. I hope that I can attend the school. The con of the program would be the price. I'm just a small town girl, and though my desire has always been to attend this school and now it's my reality since I've gotten accepted; I'm looking for ways to afford the program. It's 477 dollars per unit. At FSU, my courses were less than that, and were 3 units each. No one on both sides of my family has ever received a bachelor’s degree or master's degree. Please graduateprograms.com help me. I already have nearly 30,000 dollars in loans from undergrad."

"Azusa Pacific University has made it very easy for me to return to school as an adult to finish my special education credential. The satellite campus is right near my home and the hours of class are convenient. My professors are always available for me to confer with."

"This school is well known for its Family Nurse Practitioner program. They gear for working nurses who are trying to finish their Masters. The quality of the program is exceptional and this school is willing to help you out through the program."
