"I attended Beckfield and was enrolled in the business program for my associates and then i was going to continue on for my BA. I took the summer quarter off this year and received a letter in the mail that I was dismissed from my degree program. They said it was because I mathmatically did not meet the requirements for graduation. I was only 11 classes away. I could not beleive it. No letter to let my know my standings befor dimissal. They were okay with taking my money that I am to pay back in loans, but they are not okay with me finishing my degree with them. I was puzzeled by what I saw in the letter and went to the school to speak with one of the department heads of student affairs. The first thing she told me was that I dug a hole that was to big for me to climb out of. Well, I researched it and I found that I did not dig myself a hole, they did. They changed the ciriculum on the degree program and did not grandfather any of their classes in to cover what they changed. I loved the school and what they had to offer but when I discovered the wrongs, I then moved on. I donot reccomend this college to anyone who is seriouse about getting a degree. When a institution such as Beckfield messes with your hard earned education and money, you then have no due respect for the school as a whole. The other change is that they require you to spend all of your financial loan and grant money at their college. They require you to purchase a $350 1 gb netbook from them. You cannot buy one off campus. They automatically take it from your money. Just have some caution going in."

"The reasons speak for themselves, obviously it's the opinion of many this is not a good school . On top of that the lady who was talking at the nursing meeting december 3rd 09' was extremely rude to me totally discouraging me from going there they say they have plenty of students so there not concerned with enrolling new students, the school has one out of five stars and the worst reviews yet want to be disrespectful to people .. makes sense right ?"
