"My experience in college was very different than others. I went to a small school (less than 1,000) so we didn't have the resources bigger schools had. However, the teachers were very dedicated and for the most part, the teachers tried their best so that you could get the most out of your time there. I do not think that the material in some cases was as hard as a "college level" class should be and in some classes, I didn't even have homework or need to study. One aspect I was not happy with was the career advising that was available for my career (Physician Assistant) because no one there had experienced that career before."

"The faculty at Brevard College are fantastic. If developing relationships with your instructors and fellow students is what you are after, BC is the place for you. The academics are not rigorous, though there are plenty of opportunities for independent study."

"I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from Brevard College and certified to teach PE/Health K-12 while there. The program was great and the Exercise Science department is top notch. I learned so much, and truthfully, I could not have passed my Praxis II without the classes of Dr. Chandler. She makes sure you learn the information and that you understand it as well. Everyone at the college was extremely helpful, as I transferred in middle Junior year and they worked with me to get my credits over and the college allowed me to take online classes elsewhere, to keep me ontrack with my original 4-year plan. Kudos to everyone involved with that process!!"
