"It is a religious school owned and run by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormon). Located about an hour south of Yellowstone it offers a great deal of outdoor opportunities. These include, camping, hiking, rafting, rock climbing, cross country skiing and many more. The school itself is located in a small town with most things easy enough to walk or bike to. It is very affordable but heavy on the rules so if you are planning on partying this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a good school at a great price where everyone is trying to help each other then this might be a good fit for you. True not for everyone but very fun, accepting and nice."

"It was a college that upheld it's standards. The students lived by the honor code and it reflected in the way that they would treat each other. BYUI helped me mature morally, spiritually, and emotionally. My relationships from college are treasured. My professors actually knew me by name and cared about me."

"Great school, Great environment. This is the type of school and program that you really have to put forth your time and commitment to achieve the most amazing experiences and growth ever. Perfect for the LDS environment, you have to be creative in doing stuff in Rexburg, although it is growing, but it's no Provo. Another thing is get to know the professors, ask them questions take time to learn from their career experiences."

"I loved BYU-Idaho. It has a great environment to study in. The teachers are great and so are the students. I would definitely go there again if I was to continue my education."

"What a great school to attend to. Starting out it was confusing but once you get the routine down things just worked out very well. One of the major things the school has helped me with is how to be analytical. To see both sides of the situation. As for my major it provided me the experience I have always been looking for. Not only do you learn but you do as well and that's the best way for me to learn. Remember its what you make of it and how much you put into it that ends up defining you who you will become. As well always work hard and strive to get an A in all your classes."

"I really enjoyed going to school at Brigham Young University Idaho. I met some people there that I would never meet anywhere else and friends that I will cherish forever. I definately would recommend looking in to this college and all that it can offer. It only continues to grow and develop new things."

"Fun if you are Mormon or like rules about what you can do. Overall nice, cheap and in a great outdoor area. Near Yellowstone and other parks!"

"Brigham Young University has an excellent quality of education for the price. If you are a member of the LDS church, the tuition is around 1900 per semester after fees. However my program in web development had a very poorly cobbled together amalgamation of classes that was not tailored to the degree at all. There were only 2-3 teachers actually worthwhile, the rest were worthless. Overall I would not recommend this program. However there are many great programs at this school, I just wasn't in the right one."
