"For English, I had so much support. I had quality instructors, and only one bad, and a support staff that was so excellent, that I will miss them when I graduate. For Film, I will rate every single experience I had as excellent. There is so much I thought that I knew that I did not know that I was taught by some really great people. I want to be friends with most of my professors, and I hope they feel the same way."

"My graduate program offers challenging coursework that also integrates the Christian religion. This is essential because my role as a Christina is very important to me. While the quality of education is suburb the cost of tuition is very high. I almost didn't apply because of the tuition price. Additionally the cost of living is a little much. Overall i love this university and would recommend it to friends and family. I would just encourage them to apply for as many scholarships as possible."

"The pros of my graduate program include: the faculty (be it professors or staff) are easily approachable; they help you in every way they can, yet they force you to challenge yourself and become a better student and person. The program forces me to apply what I know to everyday obstacles and prepares me for my career. The cons are that it is all very time consuming and you have absolutely no social life; but that is a con with every graduate program. All you have to keep telling yourself is that interned it will all be worth it, and furthering your education has allowed you a better, more financially stable and rewarding future."

"My Graduate Program pros are that I have excellent Professors who give quality instruction and I have a lot of support from the faculty. I love the Campus it is clean, safe , and has computer access most of the time. The Cons would be that they don't have a Doctorate program and I wish the on campus professors would lecture online as well."

"A graduate program may be seen as a major goal or a stepping stone for those who want to continue with his or her education. The pros are endless including the opportunity to open an array of job qualifications. The cons of a graduate program is the intensity of which is at time difficult to maintain between life and work. I see my graduate program as a stepping stone which will allow me to someday obtain my ultimate goal of achieving a doctorate level degree."

"CalBaptist is full of friendly, supportive professors and staff who are also very intelligent--you're really stretched and encouraged to grow as a student and a person. The small class sizes encourage community and rapport between students and faculty alike, and that in turn provides good job and networking opportunities. However, some of the professors--by far the minority--don't seem to take their jobs as seriously as they could... But even that has a good side, since it causes students to rely on each other, building community and creating discourse. California Baptist is of course a Christian university, first and foremost, and most of the time this just creates a harmonious working and learning environment, however from time to time it seems too religiously focused, excluded other points of view. Financial aid is also not well supported--only loans/private financing are available to students, who must seek elsewhere for scholarships and grants, unlike in public universities or even most private ones."

"Because Cal Baptist is a Christian university, it may appear to lack diversity. After attending, it is obvious that the program and school is very diverse, offering great learning experiences from diverse backgrounds."

"I feel that the cons to my program is there is not enough hands on experience in regard to exercise science and exercise prescription. The cons is that CBU campus is a great environment if your focus is to have Christian centered learning."

"The Kinesiology program is excellent. I feel that the classes offered are preparing me for the career field I have chosen. The faculty in the department are helpful and kind. They care about your well-being and success in the program. The only con I would state about the program is the lack of equipment in the Exercise Physiology Laboratory."
