"The Pros: Friendly people in the program with excellent teachers that genuinely care for the students academic success. The Cons: It will be nice to have more interaction with the teachers, financial aid help can improve and more school spirit should be implemented for Grad students as well as traveling abroad opportunities."

"I believe that Fresno State offers a well rounded program for School Counselors. The pros consist of the small number of students within the program. You are able to get to know your fellow colleagues and utilize each other for support and study groups. You also have easy access to professors because of the small number within the program. The cons consist of several things: most staff are part time and put their "day job" ahead of the graduate program and the students, they are not easily accessible and sometimes I feel like we get the short end of the stick. Also, within the counseling department "School Counselors" are not the programs top priority. Time is invested largely into the Marriage and Family Therapy program and once again School Counseling K-12 gets the lease attention. There are also very few professors who have ever experienced working High/Middle/Elementary school level students in a counseling setting. Overall I am getting the proper knowledge to do the job when the program is complete, but I do feel this program has room for improvement to better train and equip future school counselors."

"It is a new program, so it is still developing. The input you place makes a huge difference. All the students help each other succeeded. Most professors are very flexible and always have there doors open so you can walk in and ask several questions."

"This program does provide you with a degree, however the faculty are too incredibly busy to be accessible or helpful. The program provides you with some vague resources to guide for searching for answers through the cluttered cloud of information that exists. The school, overall, lacks communication efficacy from its administration as well."

"The location is great, close to the mountains and great camping. Also, the housing is very inexpensive in the area. The biggest con is the communication in the department."

"The education Fresno State provides is top notch. The Physical Therapy program is currently ranked #8 in California. The program is very competitive and more affordable than most others in the country. The unique learning opportunities that Fresno State provides better prepare its graduates for the work place. The work load is intense, but the faculty is great at finding ways to make sure everyone is able to learn and apply the material."

"The professors are very helpful. They're available for graduate students through email, texts, and meeting one on one. On the other hand, buying textbooks are extremely expensive and there are lots of reading for each classes."

"Pros: I love the fact that I am doing things to immediately better my skills as a future physical therapist . I appreciate the fact that the professors are always available when I need them and that they truly do want us to succeed. Cons: the full and rigorous workload makes the program stressful at times, but that's what to expect from a doctor program. No time for part time job in my opinion."

"For me, this is a great place to be because I have a support system (friends, job, family, familiarity with the city), but I'm sure for the students who come from other places it is really hard to find social activities and the public transportation isn't accessible."

"I love Fresno State's Department of Physical Therapy program as it is very competitive and supportive of our career. The faculty and staff are very challenging but ensure we are ready to take the next steps of becoming a successful physical therapist. Although the workload can be overwhelming at times, our class helps each other out and make sure we have a social life. I am happy to be a part of this great graduate program!"

"The Counseling Program at Fresno State is a great program. I feel like I have learned so much that is applicable to everyday life. There are a variety of courses to choose from as well as professors who teach the different courses. While Fresno in itself is not the most pleasant town to live in, there are things to do and nicer places to go. I attended this school because I was living at home, which made it very affordable. If I were to move out, I probably would have chosen another school, simply because of the town. The program itself is great and I feel is better than many of the programs in other California schools."
