"CSULB is known as a commuter school. Students from the LA area drive to school on a daily basis, making it a bit difficult to meet people at first unless you join an organization, then it's easy to meet people with similar interests. As far as the classes go for mechanical engineering, I feel as though they helped prepare me for my career and in preparing me for grad school in the near future. I enjoyed my time and experience at CSULB and would definitely recommend it."

"CSULB is an extremely diverse campus filled with people and faculty from all over the world. You will see returning students, exchange students, off-campus students, on-campus students, etc. As such, classes are catered to every need and interest; there are a wide range of classes to choose from: from surfing to biochemistry. Faculty is caring and would like to see you succeed and such is reflected in their teaching methods and styles."

"Attending CSULB School of Social Work part-time program was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The professors really care about your future and really helped prepare me for my future as a social worker. Also, my colleagues and fellow classmates were so helpful and experienced and helped me become the best social worker that I can be. If you are thinking about applying to an MSW program, long beach is the way to go. You get the best bang for your buck!!"
