"I am just starting the Graduate Program for Special Education so I am not to sure of any cons. To get into the program was an easy process because of the help of the advisors. They showed me what I needed to do and showed me how to do it. They were always open to talk and give me information when I needed it. They worked with me to come up with a program plan, and let me know different ways that I could attack it to finish up the program."

"The greatest part of the program is the meeting people who are in the field and offer personal experiences. Most of the classes are beneficial."

"The pros in my graduate program is that I am able to obtain my Master's in Special Education along with my Teaching Credential as I take my courses. I have no cons in the graduate program."

"The professors of my program were almost all incredible, knowledgeable, and available to their students. Many gave their students their cell phone number to be reached in case students needed more guidance and information. The instructors are passionate and so are the majority of your peers but there are a few who you hope never make it out of the program and into a classroom. Financial aid is nonexistent for graduates unless loans count. Peers and teachers sort of helped with networking to become knowledgeable about the interview process, the real world, and possible job openings but the career center did not help me much. It felt like an office you can go to but not a place that could really help you figure out your next move besides teaching you some interview tips."
