"I find CSU- Sacramento a good 4 year school to transfer to as a junior. Parking is ample, though consider parking on J street or near Guy west bridge to if you cannot afford parking permits. You can purchase parking permits for a semester, week or 3 week period. Semester parking permits are returnable for a partial refund depending on the date in relation to the completion of the semester. Utilize the services available that are part of the registration fees, which include: The Well gymnasium, The terminal lounge in the Union, Library Grad lockers, and department resources."

"California State University - Sacramento is known for it's lower cost in college tuition and commuter school; however, the school continues to expand and bring their students and future students the best of programs, starting with a state of the art gym, programs for first generation students, and vast variety of courses. With this in mind, California State University-Sacramento provides a vast options for majors and continues to strive to help students succeed in areas of degrees. As a result, students have the support to obtain additional assistance with housing, aid, and programs that will assistance the student. Although California State University-Sacramento is known to be a commuter school it does not have an extreme sense of a college town experience because a lot of the students are commuting from different areas in Northern California, which, makes the college culture to be on the go mentality. As a result, Sacramento State believes in the self-awareness with allowing students to lounge outside with the vast areas of greenery to set up a hammock or simply lay in the grass to decompress for all the external stressors that may occur in college, but if your the type that needs more of the indoor setting in the student lounge there is an area for students to take naps or enjoy monthly entertainment. Lastly, California State University - Sacramento is extremely competitive for it's course work and graduate program, which, makes it a great place to challenge yourself and enjoy the many things that Sacramento can offer."

"Great instructors and internship sites. The program really wants people to succeed and campus is incredibly beautiful. The cost of tuition is affordable in comparison to other social work programs. The work load is not too intense or overwhelming."

"CSUS is a great school. The professors are passionate and helpful. There is great transportation to campus from downtown Sacramento and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, there is very little available financial aid"

"Good instructors in the program with diverse backgrounds. A lot of the learning is in the placement, which all students must accomplish. Classes can be long, most grad students have classes Monday & Tuesday (1st year) noon-6pm"
