"I love the grad program in Counseling at CSUS. I know I listed health but we study mental health. The pros of the program are the experiences of the faculty. The general love of the profession and the perseverance to continue to train new counselors to be the embrace diversity the diversity of others in the journey is felt in every class. I feel when I leave this place I will have developed a sound foundation to work in the field. The program does run through Cohorts of students, which makes getting the right classes each semester very easy. They are guaranteed. A con to the program is that it is not work friendly and does not work really well with a part time schedule due to cohorting."
