"Cameron University is a very friendly institution. I had mostly good experiences in my Bachelor's degree program. I think the Master's program needs some work. But for the most part I enjoyed my time there."

"Cameron is a small town university situated in rural Oklahoma. It is perfect for students just out of high school, but not ideal for international students who already have college credits. As an international student, my three year associate degree was not taken into account by Cameron. While it was added to my transcript, I was not allowed to transfer any of my credit for classes as simple as Composition 1 and 2. I could not transfer credits for a Shakespeare course because I studied different Shakespeare books at my previous college. Explanations like this one made no sense to me. I had to take the full length four year degree despite having three years of solid, world class instruction from my home country, Jamaica. I found the classes at Cameron elementary, especially the general education classes. Only a few Communication and English courses required me to really push the limits. The campus itself is beautiful and small enough for students to walk with ease from one class to another. The community of Lawton is also easy to get around. For students who don't own a car, there is a reliable bus system that is usually on schedule. Campus life is not really exciting, but it is perfect for students who have trouble staying focused. There isn't a lot there to distract or keep you away from your studies."

"Cameron University is a great school. I was satisfied with the education I obtained there. It prepared me for my career and current graduate program I am in. I currently am in the school psychology graduate program at the University of Central Oklahoma."

"Overall, I absolutely love Cameron University. With recent budget cutbacks, our graduate program has suffered, but only minimally. The faculty are some of the friendliest and most helpful on campus. They are always open to talking to students and actually care about them. The campus itself is beautiful, and although the surrounding community has much to improve on, Cameron remains a safe place for students and offers great opportunities to network and make life-long friends."

"You receive a well-rounded education from the faculty at Cameron University. There is a good mix of traditional studies and graphic studies. We were trained classically or traditionally before we could move on to the experimentation process; we learned to write proficiently and speak publicly; we were shown to think outside the box and how to use our creative talents in other areas, not just in the Fine Arts. The teachers themselves are fabulous artists that continue to learn themselves and carry that over into their teachings and influence to the students. I would recommend attending here for art school. It's a small, family like atmosphere & you receive a valuable education."

"I feel that the graduate program at Cameron University is excellent. The financial aid at Cameron could be a lot better, they should inform students about financial aid available to the students."

"The program is not as diverse as I would like it to be, and there is only one online course per graduate class; however I do like the ease of enrollment and the convenience of the courses."
