"The online program at CUA was created solely to generate revenue. The quality of the course work and attention paid to student needs is sub par. I chose CUA because it is located in the nation's capital where many of the organizations that I would like to seek employment are located. Do not be fooled. You will get no assistance with your required internship placements, and in fact, I was penalized for reaching out to an agency without permission, even though the deadline was fast approaching and no one in the department explained to me their timeline or process. For the amount of money spent on an MSW from CUA, I would expect better student service. The online platform is confusing. The professors don't even produce live lectures. I taught myself statistics! DO NOT apply to CUA's online program. Not worth it!"

"The online program at Catholic University is very convenient. As a non-traditional student, this program offers me the flexibility I need to obtain a degree that I desire. The professors are very knowledgeable and caring. The coursework is designed in a way to help the social worker gain the knowledge necessary to be able to provide best services to the clients."

"Catholic University's social work program offers a fairly high quality education but the administrative support around social justice is limited. The university's adherence to Catholic doctrine regarding LGBT issues and birth control (particularly their rejection of gay rights and their spearheading position in the March for Life each year) are in conflict with the basic tenets of social work and effect what is taught and how the program is managed."

"I'm currently pursuing a master degree online in social work, and I find my teachers, counselors, and technical support very helpful. They always answer my questions in a timely manner and are always checking that I'm happy with the program. The program is very convenient for students who have to work, or have other responsibilities. Highly recommended"

"If you are looking for a college experience that welcomes diversity, embraces Christianity and open minded thinking that is strategically nestled in the Nation's Capitol of the world, look no further than the Catholic University of America (CUA). As a returning adult student, my educational journey has been a rewarding experience. Being embraced by individuals and educators who push you to think critically and strategically to make this world a better place has been a life-changing experience."

"CUA's MSW program has been accredited for 75 years, and that is a testiment to the quality of education you are getting. They have a great team of faculty that are always willing to help you out, and they show that they really care. The only con would be the cost of a CUA education."
