Central Texas College Reviews
I am active duty in the military so I have a very unpredictable and busy schedule. I love that this college offers online classes that are at your own pace, meaning that you are given the assignments and they are not due until the day the class ends. I have had no issues with teachers and was decently easy to keep up with. I however enjoy more instructional learning rather than reading, so that is one thing I would like to change but I am sure they should offer it from another instructor.
I took an online only degree. I am the type of person that just wants the book and assignments. I really liked a lot of CTC's classes because that is exactly what I got with them. I got a lot of classes that had a clear, concise syllabus with clear assignments and clear rubrics. I don't need a professor to tell me what I can find in black and white. Anytime I needed help, I would find the instructors' preferred way of contact and it was normally 24 hours and I would receive a response. I just honestly wish that they would host a bachelor's in my degree so I could continue with them. I would recommend this school for those that don't need supervision.
I am attending CTC with the goal of transferring to UMHB. CTC has been so helpful in keeping me up to date on what I need in order to do so. They have made me aware of all the guidelines for the other Universities, their mantra seems to be, why stop here? Keep going!
The teachers have horrible response time to questions, making it very hard to finish assignments and exams. This is my third semester and they aren't offering any courses for my degree plan that I need. It has been challenging.
