I'm about to complete my degree at the end of December. I took 2 classes at a time, and I would have been done in a year had I not taken 16 weeks off. But that's the beauty of it; it's flexible, so if you need a break, take it! They have excellent support for tutoring and even have support for non- school issues if problems arise that interfere with school.

Chamberlain made the entire process easy...from obtaining by transcripts from previous schools at enrollment, giving me credit for my previous courses and through to graduation. Each class was laid out with the expectations and due dates that were easy to follow. Instructors used various teaching methods such as vidoes, viniettes, power points, and discussions. The instructors were responsive and gave feedback where there were learning opportunities. I do not know why I waiting so long to get my... Read More

Chamberlain is an outstanding school that I would recommend for anyone who is serious and interested in nursing. Chamberlain provides an excellent education and training. I've been at Chamberlain for two years now, and I have nothing but positive feedback about Chamberlain. The tuition is expensive for real. I do recommend that whoever is interested, go online and download curriculum courses then take them somewhere else to save the cost, then only take nursing courses at Chamberlain.

I was placed in a position to acquire a BSN by 2019 to remain employed as a Registered Nurse. I found Chamberlain's online program. It fit with my work/life balance. The online courses are doable. I found Algebra, Statistics, and Economics online were intense. I took them back-to-back, and they were a challenge. I spent a lot of time at my computer for these courses. But, I got it done. I am near completion of my program, and will graduate next year.

I really enjoy Chamberlain. I like the accelerated program because it gets me finished quicker and the 8-week sessions were really good in terms of I didn't have time to slack off. The professors genuinely cared about my success and take the time to know me as a student and as a person. Many of my professors taught me in one or more classes, which was nice because I was able to form a quality relationship with them.

I am currently enrolled in the BSN online program. I was very nervous about starting classes but they really get you engaged in the content. The classes are small and the professors are inclusive. They answer your questions without hesitation, challenge you to think outside the box and give you feedback on all your assignments. The admissions department is knowledgeable and super friendly. There is no waiting on the phone or being transferred from department to department.

After having been out of school for 20 years, I went back for my BSN. Chamberlain made it painless. I worked full time and finished my BSN with Honors! The professors were Great and they also work other jobs, so they understand our crazy schedules. Do it, you wont regret it!

Love attending Chamberlain College of Nursing!! The environment is welcoming to all students of all different backgrounds! The staff are all friendly and always helpful with all situations that I have encountered! The course load is difficult, as to be expected with an excelled program but resources are available to help nursing students succeed.

In terms of my own personal learning, I highly recommend this school. I enjoyed the small class sizes, and I highly recommend the accelerated program timing. Having only two or three classes for eight weeks is so much more effective than five classes for sixteen weeks. I feel I can really focus so much more and really learn the material. With this schedule, I was also able to work while in school. It is cheaper than going away and living somewhere... So far very great experience.

Amazing instructors. Adult Learning is difficult and they get it. The instructors guide and assist as needed to ensure success. Working and having a family and going to school seemed next to impossible. But I did it. I really did it. Its not easy, it takes hard work and discipline. Set aside the time you need and achieve your dreams.

I am currently a student at the Chicago Chamberlain campus. I have to agree to a point with most of the reviews . Chamberlain constantly changes policies and has no intention of keeping their word . For example, I was told I could take all my pre- reqs online, which was a major plus.. convience is a huge factor in today's world. However, within my first year they took away that option.. a set back, but I decided to keep a positive attitude and move forward. Shortly after that I was sent an email... Read More

The worst most inconsiderate school Ive ever been in.

The worst school Ive ever been to. I only lasted 1 semester before I left to another school. Inconsiderate and unprofessional. The professors dont explain anything in detail and administration is useless. I had to teach myself the class material the whole time because the professors only read the PowerPoints rather than actually talk about the subjects. Also, they care nothing about ones personal lives and trials... actually made students provide and obituary copy of deceased family members for missing... Read More

Chamberlain Atlanta does have really good resources and some of the teachers truly care about your success. However, some of the staff is very confrontational, rude, and disrespectful. A lot of them act as though they are better than you and treat you like a child. It's almost worse than high school. Ask too many questions? A teacher reported a classmate of mine for "constantly challenging her" and verbal abuse (even though she was never "verbally abusive"). The only truly good parts about this school... Read More

The nursing program was really good overall but do plan on possibly travelling an hour for clinical sites. The program does not pair students and sites by location but rather a lottery style first come, first serve. Also, there is absolutely NO way to plan the final coal obligations each month. Students who dont receive 100% tuition coverage have different monthly payments month to month which was a horrible experience.

Very quick ADMISSIONS and very quick DISMISSALS. They drop you like flies even if you are 1 or 2 points off the expected final grade. 76% in your core assignments which is all 3 exams and like 20% ATI. ATI systems I thought was an okay learning tool but soon later found that it tricks student into thinking that their resources are reliable. Just launched Fall 2017 and we were the guinea pigs. Most questions are based on the ATI style questions but re-worded on the actual exams which confuses innocent... Read More

I believe that they purposely fail students over ridiculous things so that they can generate more revenue. The teaching staff is subpar and biased. Even when discussing issues with student advisors they do not listen. They have already made up their mind. It is very expensive and totally not worth the cost. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to another school!!!

I absolutely hate this school. I did graduate and passed NCLEX on the first hit. However, everything that they put us thru did not help me with passing my boards, Kaplan's Coursework helped the most. It is terribly expensive and theiron method of job placement is crappy. The deans at the Chicago, Addison & Tinley Park campuses are so uncaring. For this institution, it is all about the $$$. They did absolutely nothing to support me as a student or new grad. I hope they close their doors. They way... Read More

STAY AWAY from this school!! The entire school works against the student so they can fail. I told the President & the Director that I was battling a chronic illness that was beyond my control while taking classes. That STUPID B***** denied my appeal twice and told me I had too many medical issues and said that I wasn't capable of finishing the program! They will give you b******* and try to make you believe it. They think they are all of that bc they made it and are the best nurses but they really... Read More

Horrible, horrible, horrible! This particular campus in North Brunswick, New Jersey was easily the work school I have ever attended. They are so disorganized, every other month they were implementing new rules, new teaching styles, new software to do your homework on and take exams on, and new staff (professors & advisers) there was never a sense of security/stability. Sometimes the students knew more than the professors about the school's software because the constant change was so confusing. This... Read More
