"My husband was diagnosed with cancer and with a newborn and toddler at the time it was a traumatic. Knowing we have no family in our area it forced me to re-evaluate my life. Chamberlain has been BEYOND supportive and I KNOW they want me to succeed. I am in the RN to BSN to MSN expedited bridge program. It has not been easy, but going to college this time around is different. I actually am enjoying it, because the first time I went to college it was out of necessity for a career and purpose. This time I CHOSE to go back and not only for my sake but to ensure financial security for my family. I definitely looked at a bunch of different colleges, but I chose Chamberlain because I knew of their high standards and the great nurses that come out of their program as I have worked with many of them. I do not regret my decision to choose Chamberlain. I am more than grateful to Chamberlain. If you are unsure whether or not to choose them? Do it. You will not regret it. I never thought colleges cared about student's success but this college truly does and they make you feel like family because the educators and staff are so invested in your success."

"I for one do not like online course but since starting at Chamberlin University online nursing program, my mind has changed. How Chamberlain supports you and set up the course work to help students succeed really makes a difference. Truly can accomplish your goal if you’re willing to put in the work for it. I wouldn’t say courses are easy but you definitely feel supported and given opportunities to improve in areas that may be difficult. It’s a good school based off of my experiences."

"As I prepare to complete my MSN in Executive Nurse Leadership in February 2026, I can confidently say that my experience at Chamberlain University has been both transformative and empowering. The program challenged me to think strategically, lead with intention, and apply evidence-based practice to real-world healthcare operations. The coursework strengthened my understanding of executive leadership, financial stewardship, quality improvement, and systems thinking skills that I actively apply in my role as a nurse leader. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on practical application. The practicum experience allowed me to implement meaningful change within my organization while aligning with best practices and measurable outcomes. Faculty members were supportive, responsive, and genuinely invested in student success.Chamberlain’s flexible structure made it possible to balance full-time leadership responsibilities, family life, and academic growth without compromising quality. The program has elevated my confidence as a nurse executive and prepared me to lead at a higher level with clarity, accountability, and purpose.I am proud to be a Chamberlain graduate and grateful for an experience that strengthened both my leadership capabilities and professional vision."

"overall, my experience has been very positive. While I have encountered a few challenges along the way, I truly believe the university is extraordinary in its commitment to nursing education and student success. The professors genuinely care about their students and about the nursing profession as a whole. That dedication is evident in their responsiveness, support, and passion for helping students grow into strong nurse leaders.Although I had some concerns that took time to resolve, they were ultimately addressed. While I would have appreciated a quicker resolution, I understand that certain matters require additional time due to legal and administrative processes. I appreciated the follow-through and the professionalism shown throughout.I have obtained ny BSN, MSN, and now Iam working on my DNP, so, Yes, I would absolutely recommend Chamberlain University to others. The academic rigor, supportive faculty, and commitment to developing competent, compassionate nursing professionals make it a strong choice for anyone pursuing a nursing degree."

"Chamberlain was not my first choice, but it has absolutely been the best choice for me. Like any institution, there are changes and decisions happening behind the scenes that students may not always fully understand. However, what truly stands out to me are the resources available for student success and the many professors who have taken the time to stop, listen, and genuinely care about my growth and achievement. While there are aspects I may not always agree with, I am here with a clear goal.....to become a nurse. I also believe in respectfully giving feedback in hopes that student voices are heard and that meaningful improvements continue to be made.If you are looking for flexibility, control over your schedule, and strong academic support, this is a school worth considering."

"My experience as a student at Chamberlain University from 2025 until now, as I close out my second session, has been largely positive. The university offers a supportive learning environment with access to helpful resources and knowledgeable instructors who genuinely care about student success. The online platform is user-friendly, making it easy to keep up with assignments and communicate with peers and faculty.Throughout my first two sessions, I have found the coursework to be challenging but manageable, and I appreciate the flexibility provided to you as a student. The feedback from professors has been constructive, allowing me to continuously improve my skills and understanding of the material. One area of concern for me has been communication with compliance, academic advising, and financial aid advising. These interactions have often been difficult and, at times, somewhat unpleasant experiences. Improving these aspects would greatly enhance the overall student experience.Overall, Chamberlain University has so far met my expectations, and I look forward to continuing my education here."

"Hello, I have been with Chamberlain for a long time. I had my bachelors in nursing with them. After that, I got my FNP masters with Chamberlain and now getting my Psych mental health NP with them. The experience have been wonderful. I’m actually sad that I’m graduating end of this month and leaving. Passing FNP boards was easy. Now hoping to pass PMHNP boards next month. I might come back for my doctorate. Good luck and best wishes to the school and professors. All professors have been kind and understanding. :)"

"Dear Students,PLEASE DO NOT JOIN Chamberlain University. Their BSN program is a small fish to catch you for MSN program. Any MSN program is a nightmare. You will NOT see that in the syllabus and They won't tell you upfront.- No Help for anything Practicum site and training.- Enter 125 hours just as patient's hours which is waste of time- VICE Calls are with no help but judged- CEA Exams are not graded but you have to pass- Practicum is painful for students and Will get your money before you hit the floor"

"Chamberlain University has been a rewarding and meaningful experience in my process to pursue becoming a nurse. Being a student trying to handle school, work, and family, I really like the degree of flexibility in online learning. I found it very straightforward to follow that course structure, each week a module and discussion posts, along with homework, etc., to help me stay organized and focused on my studies. Having this consistency has helped me to gain better time management and study habits. Chamberlain’s advantages are that it lends itself well to good professors and academic resources. Many of my professors are responsive, supportive, and dedicated to student growth. They offer constructive criticism for assignments and are also available to answer clarifying questions if you have questions. The Chamberlain Library and tutoring aid have been helpful too for research papers and getting started on exams, as well as when studying for papers. The course content is pertinent and geared towards the students for what they will encounter in-practice nursing. Courses focusing on anatomy, psychology, and professional nursing concepts have given me a solid basis in academics. I also very much like that it promotes professionalism, reflection, as well as personal development, as well which prompts the students to reflect on the future of nursing and their purpose. One aspect that has room for improvement is financial support, and support, assistance, and scholarships would be really helpful. A lot of students are facing heavy obligations, so more are doing the above. I really have enjoyed Chamberlain University overall. Structure, support, and flexibility have helped me push through my schooling to the next step towards a career for me to positively impact others."

"I am now a returning PMHNP certificate student to Chamberlain University after completing my DNP in 2020. The school is awesome and has the most supportive team of professionals that I have experienced in Academic thus far. During the pandemic I felt very supported while finishing my program. Now in the Graduate Certificate program it’s the same support from the Professors and the Deans.Great school! So happy I made this choice!"

"This school is all about business, they don’t care about their students. I regret that I wasted my time going to this school. Your final grades are only depends on your exams, everything else they don’t counts but you have to do them. I wasn’t sign up for this, they forced people to take classes that you don’t need. The only is not flexible, they give you the time that you have to take the exams and if you’re not available, they fail you for it."

"This was my third time returning to Chamberlain for a nursing degree (BSN 2011, FNP 2016) and I must say I am very disappointed with the school overall. I was misled when I was being recruited for the DNP track with the promise of no exams or quizzes for the entire program. My second class had a 200 point quiz. Tuition was increased my second eight week session and they do not have a flexible course withdrawal process. My spouse unexpectedly lost his job and I attempted to withdraw the second day of the first week of a new session and even after submitting proof, the university was more concerned with collecting fees in the amount of 10% of the total tuition fee, $50 academic fee and 100% cost of student fees. The session itself was $2487. Unfortunately, I had to continue the current session and complete the course to submit for tuition reimbursement from my employer. I was asked to be removed from automatic course scheduling after that and am looking to continue my degree elsewhere. I used to recommend this school from my prior BSN and FNP programs here, not anymore. Save yourself the trouble and look into a brick and mortar university that offers online courses and stay away from Chamberlain College of Nursing."

"I recently took online courses through Chamberlain. Be aware that they do not allow you to take any non-nursing or nursing classes at any other college. I took a summer English course and attempted to use those credits as part of the program and was denied by the dean on appeal. While I can understand that nursing courses should be taken through Chamberlain, I was not really given a valid reason of why my English credit was not accepted. I was denied because I did not have "extenuating circumstances". Financially the courses are very expensive, and I thought it was more cost effective to take a non-nursing course at the local community college to save expenses on tuition. Needless to say, I will no longer use Chamberlain as a path to obtaining my BSN as there are many other choices that have a more affordable tuition rate. Very disappointed."
