"I will have a PhD in an area I am very passionate about and will be mentored by professors who are the top in the field. The program emphasizes collaboration and sense Chapman is a small school it is more intimate. The cost is higher than other schools."

"The pros of this graduate program is that they provide you with enough support to make you feel confident in what you are learning and that you have people who you can go to if you need help. The cons of this graduate program is that it is rather expensive."

"This graduate program is relatively new to others in California. As such, much of the logistical aspects of the program have not been worked out. There is currently no funding given to students that apply to the program with the exception of limited $750 grants that students can apply to. The campus is overall very beautiful and the use of technology is extensive. Chapman enjoys the benefit of being recognized by many community, business, and political leaders in the area."

"Overall Chapman University is a wonderful school. The school overall is kept in great condition as everything looks very new and is very clean. The staff at Chapman University is also extremely helpful and all of them are able to help you. As it is a private university I have found it extremely easy to get my classes and never have to worry that they are at full capacity. The professors are also wonderful at Chapman Unviersity. They have a lot of experience in the field and they do a great job of tying in the things you learn in class to real life examples from our careers. They are also very understanding that all of us are working people and are very accomodating with homework assignments and projects. The cons with the schuol is that it is extremely expensive. Everythng from the courses you take, parking, and just living in the area. There's not a lot of financial aid for graduate students who attend the school part time which is a bummer. Another thing that is frustrating is that if you are a graduate student they don't offer any morning classes. They are all in the afternoon or evening, making it hard if you have an evening job. There's just not a lot of flexibility with their scheduling of classes. Also parking can be extremely hard as well if you decide to take an afternoon class. I would recommend just having evening classes just on that part alone."

"My graduate program is great for those wanted to dive head first into the industry. You'll immediately meet industry professionals, get an overview of the field, and become a part of a great network. Being in Orange County, and a close drive to Los Angeles, the location is great for those entering in the food industry. In just my first semester I've locked in a new internship, and possibly a second. The professors work with you one-on-one and there are many options for independent research and thesis projects. The program is flexible, and I'm able to work almost full time, as most classes are in the evenings. You're able to do the program in as little as 18 months if you decide to do the non-thesis route. The only con would be that the program is smaller, so many of the professors you may have multiple times, however this is many adjunct faculty brought on for classes, which I like because they also work in the industry and bring in that experience. There are many foreign students as well, so it brings an atmosphere of learning from all different backgrounds. Overall I would definitely recommend the program, and I love the area of Old Towne Orange where Chapman University is located!"

"I love the program at Chapman, because it was exactly what I was looking for. I am interested in working in entertainment law and Chapman offers a joint JD/MFA, an entertainment law emphasis, and a unique entertainment law clinic, in which students work with independent filmmakers to create a feature length film. All of these combined to be a perfect fit for me. The professors are all knowledgeable, well-trained, and very helpful. The student body is not overly competitive and the classes are challenging without being impossible. The campus is beautiful and the town is adorable."

"The program is expensive, $780 per unit. But the class sizes are small and there is a lot of freedom in terms of when work is due and how long it is. The teachers really emphasize that this program is what you make of it."

"The pros of Chapman University are the supportive faculty members who make themselves available to students. The faculty is knowledgeable about current most effective practices for the field of school psychology and are active in the community. Thus, increasing their expertise and range of experiences. The Financial Aid and Student Business offices are always helpful, patient, and understanding towards students' needs. They offer students guidance in receiving their aid and assist them in the best way possible. Chapman University's campus is a beautiful place to be with restaurants and fun locations to surrounding the campus so that friends and colleagues can get together and exchange ideas and information. Honestly, there are no cons to attending Chapman University. It truly is a wonderful place to be!"

"Chapman Law has wonderful networking programs & is very invested in your success and well-being as a law student. They were extremely generous in their financial aid & in every aspect of welcoming me to law school and getting me settled.
